FFS Cup

The latest FFS Cup fixtures and results

We’ve reached the quarter-final stage of our second FFS Cup of the season.

The draw for the last eight has now been made after the round of 16 took place in Double Gameweek 34, with a handful of ties being settled by the odd point or two.

FFS moderator Rotation’s Alter Ego edged out Lal Toofan (who is now ranked at 750 in the world) 50-48, with his choice of Son Heung-min as captain giving him a crucial extra three points over his rival.

Our highest-ranked remaining manager, HPCAMPBELL, saw off the challenge of aha_berg by 59 points to 44. HPCAMPBELL registered his tenth green arrow in a row in Gameweek 34 and now has an OR of 262.

Our one remaining FPL manager with a seven-digit rank bowed out of the competition. Vulken was defeated 35-36 by Hi Ho Silva Lining, who prevailed despite handing the armband to Shane Duffy and counting Troy Deeney – who was sent off against Arsenal – among his starting XI.

dark91 is now our lowest-ranked surviving manager, having recorded the highest score of the round in defeating Foot Fighter 61-39 – a 21-point haul from Lucas Moura helping dark91 to a seventh straight green arrow.

LOKOMOTIV is nicely positioned just outside the top 1k and he saw off I Member 49-45 in another close-run tie.

Another FFS site user sitting inside the top 5,000 exited the competition, however: Profa Benitez losing by the tightest of margins to Ibra-gum.

Roger150 and Skogen89 were the winners of our other two ties, defeating Evil Elvis and Insanity Later respectively.

The full sixth round results were as follows:

Have three Brighton. Will still BB.
Not expecting miracles but when else would I BB now, not enough time left this season to make major changes, so I'd only be swapping them to other budget defenders, but with SGWs rather than DGWs.

          What you Hmmm'ing about?

You think it's worth wasting FTs or taking -4's to swap Duffy and Ryan with a DGW, to the likes of Schar, and Etheridge (who have the best fixtures on paper next week).

I'm still doing it but probably getting rid of Duffy (Dunk already gone).

The way I see it is that if they score 0 again you could have paid for any -4 you have to take by bringing in another DGW defender who will probably get at least 4 points right?

I would use it this week if not bench boosting or plenty of options between now and the end. Liverpool have some good fixtures and so do city

Aguero or Sterling against Brighton in 38.
...hoping relegation is sorted prior to 38, but City still need a win for the title.

Seems over the top, they're still on for the domestic triple!

I can understand the calls for Walker to be replaced, very good player but he can be a liability at times. Also, David Silva is 33 and has been poor recently, will they give more game time to Foden or go out and spend 50m on another creative midfielder? I really hope it's the Foden option.

Laporte and Aguero shouldn't be going anywhere - fantastic players.

    Champions league

Why is Tuesday night 1st legs always Wednesday 2nd legs
And Wednesday night 1st legs always Tuesday next night 2nd legs

Why not just keep the tue followed by the and other match Wednesday followed by wed.

Certain broadcasters have day specific rights (Tuesday only, Wednesday only) so it's to make sure they don't get the same games both times.

      A) Eriksen, Duffy and Deeney to Bilva, Wilson and TAA.
      B) Same players to KDB, Long and TAA.
      C) Same players to KDB, Llorente and Cathcart*

      Lloris, Foster
      Robertson, Doherty, Duffy, Dunk, Valery
Mané, De Bruyne, Eriksen, Son, Jota
      Aguero, Jimenez, Deeney

      0.2 ITB, aiming to BB.

      A. Deeney > Gray/Ings/Rondon
      B. Deeney + Duffy > Wilson + Yoshida (-4)
      B. Deeney + Dunk > TAA + Long (-4)

All options look to stink the place out, but I'm at the point of damage limitation.

KDB a better captain than Aguero this GW?

He's certainly looked the much more in form over the last couple of games..

I might. High chance of baps and assists over two games is very tempting.

Thinking of moving on Duffy, Deeney & Murray from my wildcard. what do you prefer:

        A) Duffy, Murray & Deeney > Masina / kiko, Rashford & Llorente -8

        B) Deeney & Murray > Rashford & llorente -4
