Aubameyang and Lacazette paired up front as Ozil returns

Two Premier League matches kick off at 16:00 BST on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal play the first of two Double Gameweek 35 fixtures, with Crystal Palace the visitors to the Emirates.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are in action against a Cardiff City side that has lost all ten of their meetings with “big six” sides in 2018/19.

There are no great shocks in Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI, with their most-popular Fantasy assets all in the visitors’ line-up.

Andrew Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk make up a familiar-looking back four, while Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah are once again selected up front.

Georginio Wijnaldum for Fabinho is Klopp’s only alteration from Gameweek 34.

Neil Warnock has named an unchanged team for the visit of Liverpool.

Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are included in the same starting XI for only the second time in nine Premier League games.

Aaron Ramsey misses out with a hamstring injury so Mesut Ozil lines up in “the hole” behind Arsenal’s strike pair.

Sead Kolasinac is also included as Emery rolls out a 3-4-1-2, with Carl Jenkinson getting a rare start on the opposite flank.

Patrick van Aanholt, Andros Townsend and Michy Batshuayi are among the substitutes for Palace, with Joel Ward handed a recall at full-back.

Arsenal XI (3-4-1-2): Leno, Mustafi, Koscielny, Mavropanos, Jenkinson, Guendouzi, Elneny, Kolasinac, Özil, Lacazette, Aubameyang.

Crystal Palace XI (4-4-2): Guaita, Ward, Kelly, Dann, Wan-Bissaka, McArthur, Milivojevic, Kouyaté, Meyer, Zaha, Benteke.

Cardiff City XI (4-2-3-1): Etheridge, Peltier, Morrison, Ecuele Manga, Bennett, Gunnarsson, Ralls, Hoilett, Camarasa, Mendez-Laing, Niasse.

Liverpool XI (4-3-3): Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Keita, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Just looking at City's remaining fixtures - is B.Silva a good option? Especially now KDB is out too.

I expected Cardiff to make it difficult for Pool, which is why I took a punt on Wilson over Bobby this gw. Shame that Wilson didn’t read the script

Disagree. Henderson just needs to provide more protection when Mendez-Laing is attacking. Henderson can afford to be a little bit deeper given the attacking threat TAA provides.

LOL. I would expect dropping Fred, Jones and Lukaku, getting Shaw and Herrera back and a motivating factor to stop City winning the league will make a difference.

Tough one. But at least Liverpool have some history of success (even if it was a while ago). City have got everything with money.

I wouldn’t even keep Rashy tbh. Agents have gotten into his head. He’s gone from being our local lad to making ‘demands’ of silly amounts of money. We can’t be breaking our wage structure. If Barca/Madrid offer us 150m I say let’s take it (along with what we get for likes of Rojo, Jonesy, Smalling, Mata, Young, etc) and put it towards a deal for Mbappe.

Matic in postmatch blaming himself, saying as the most experience player he should've been better. Repeating that it was his own fault throughout the interview.

He's not good enough now but it's the lack of effort from others that bothers me more.

Not just him, there were 11 player who massive underperformed on that pitch.

Nice to see player taking full responsibility, though.

What do you expect from Man city's next 3 games?

Keep things tight and just 1-0/2-0 kind of victories or go all out attack resulting in high scoring games?

City aren't good enough defensively to just keep things tight, they're better off playing their regular game.

Look at any game where a team actually has a go at City. They defend well from the front, do well at stopping counterattacks and almost always have the vast majority of possession, their actual defense though is poor, against good teams its often exposed for the shambles it is.

I know what you’re saying but their defence is often good for 3 or 4 nils 😀

City are good for clean sheets because of their possession based play and fast press, not because they have good defensive assets. Best form of defence is attack!
