Hazard fit to play as Hudson-Odoi gets a fourth straight league start

Chelsea take on Burnley in west London this evening, with kick-off at Stamford Bridge at 20:00 BST.

Eden Hazard has shaken off a minor knock to start for the Blues and is back on the left flank, following his run-out as a “false nine” against Liverpool last weekend.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Callum Hudson-Odoi each start their fourth successive Premier League matches, while Gonzalo Higuain is recalled up front.

Higuain for Willian is one of two changes Maurizio Sarri has made from the defeat at Anfield, with Andreas Christensen in for the injured Antonio Rudiger his other alteration.

Marcos Alonso is once again sidelined so Emerson Palmieri continues at left-back.

After three wins on the spin, Sean Dyche has unsurprisingly named an unchanged starting XI for the trip to west London.

Phil Bardsley hasn’t recovered from a gashed leg so Matthew Lowton continues at right-back.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson still can’t find his way back into the Clarets’ side, with Jeff Hendrick again preferred on the right flank.

Hazard was the most-sold midfielder (and second-most-sold asset overall) of Gameweek 35, with almost 275,000 FPL managers transferring out the Chelsea winger.

16.19% of the top 10,000 Fantasy managers still own Hazard, with his overall ownership figure standing at 27.07% at the point of the Gameweek 35 deadline.

The Blues beat Burnley 4-0 in the reverse fixture of this game but only two of the six players involved in the goals – Loftus-Cheek and N’Golo Kante – start this evening.

Chelsea XI (4-3-3): Kepa, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Luiz, Emerson, Jorginho, Kanté, Loftus-Cheek, Hazard, Hudson-Odoi, Higuaín.

Burnley XI (4-4-2): Heaton, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, Hendrick, Westwood, Cork, McNeil, Wood, Barnes.

Asked the other day, but looking to gather some genuine feedback if possible:

Anyone gone to/known someone who went to University of Bath? If so, how long ago? How did you find it? Positives/negatives?

Considering it or a few in the US (and will be doing sport, swimming, at all), but obviously Bath by far the cheapest.

(I know this is a FPL forum but most seem to be from the UK so may have decent insight) 🙂

I know someone who went there and they loved it. It’s a nice place but expensive.

What about Loughborough if for Sport?

Did consider there but Bath appear just as strong for swimming and arguably stronger for academics, at leat according to tables and such. Have offers from both but Bath the main one I'm considering in the UK (was considering Edinburgh but is a bit of a step down from what I'm currently doing in training).

As for expensive, it's got nothing on the US haha (as I have the UK rates for the likes of Bath, but pay close to full price of the US ones). But good to know, cheers man!

Yeah. One of the main contenders in the US for me just now is NYU (New York University) which is probably safe to say a more prestigous name than Bath and probably a cooler place to study, but for multiple times more expensive.

It's a bit obscene how much more most US colleges cost than their UK counterparts

            Interesting perspective then, thanks haha.

I think we could afford it (NYU) but it's maybe the question of is it REALLY worth that much more money?

            What makes you say that?

You'll be in a better position than me to assess value for money regarding the swimming programmes at nyu and team bath.
But if you have an opportunity to live and work in NYC at any stage in your life, take it whilst it's there. Bath will come around again.
              Good luck mate.

        Thanks for the reply Ragabolly!

Can I ask why you think that? In terms of academics they seem of a similar standard (though NYU is a more prestigous name). NYU probably a more exciting place to live, but Bath still not bad (right?) and Bath swimming probably stronger. I'm just struggling to weigh up the 70k NYU or so versus probably sub 20k annually in the UK... I think I could afford both but wonder if it's worth it

I can't speak of swimming etc, but attending NYU and living in NYC for some time opens so many doors to you. I personally studied in both England and the US and saw what a prestigious place with strong possibilities of making connections and gaining exposure can do to your career.

Good to know, thanks mate. Something I was actually considering was the possibility of doing undergrad in the UK (so would be Bath), and maybe postgrad in the US.

I just missed out on getting into Yale this year actually which would have been a no brainer for me despite added cost over the UK ones, because ya know, it's Yale (I say just missed out because I got into UPenn with 7% acceptance rate but missed out on Yale with their pretty ridiculous 3% or something acceptance rate).

          Ra ra
The type of upper class english youth who talks with an affected accent, knows people who know people who know prince harry (and call him 'hazza'), who calls his mother 'mummy' even at the age of 23 and wears polo shirts and rugby shirts with the collars popped. So called because of the fact that when a ra ra laughs it sounds like they're shouting 'ra ra ra' to each other. Usually nice enough, if a bit pretentious. May have a swimming pool and a tendency to wear bright pink shirts. Might look gay, but usually just metrosexual.

Also East London works out of the Olympic set up now. My old Uni Cardiff has a great sports set up and I’d great place to go to university. Edinburgh and Loughborough are also great for swimming/sports. I chose Cardiff over Loughborough. But Bath is known for swimming but Swim Wakes use Swansea Uni, supposedly a decent set up.

Hey fella- I went to University of Nottingham, played sport and fumbled my way to a 2-1 in economics and currently doing a masters whilst working in London. I’d consider Nottingham and similar university’s- Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester (I’m from there) if they have the relevant sports facilities you’re looking for. One of my best friends went to Bath and he absolutely loved it but admitted it’s a ‘secluded’ university in the sense it is the small city and not much else. Depending on what you like, if you want to go partying and see more things I’d look at larger uni setup. I see people have mentioned Loughborough and in terms of the place there won’t be much between the two.

The comment on Bath being Ra is spot on haha.

Nottingham was a campus university and genuinely incredible, the city so close and where all students lived 2/3rd year so close. It’s a big enough city for things to do but not huge like London that it takes forever to get around.

Wow thanks for the feedback man! Unfortunately I’m already in Year 13 so have applied and got all my offers back, so not so much looking at other schools as trying to decide if Bath is the right one for me!

That’s good to know for Bath too, and I have heard that most people really like it there when they’ve attended. I’ve heard it’s very close to Bristol which is good for nights out too apparently so there’s that at least!

Never looked at Bath. Got an offer from Loughbrough myself and the campus looks really good etc but just not keen on it being completely onsight and the city itself is quite dead. Also not an elite athlete so not my environment I guess. GL with where you decide

if 100% pf people owned a player and all triple captained him, then it would hit 300%, wouldn't it?.

There's no way Salah will hit 200%.

Salah is currently owned by around 23%, Mane by 54%, and 5% have both. If we say all the 5% who own both will still captain Salah, that's 23% for Salah, 49% for Mane. The 49% who will captain Mane will probably not transfer in Salah, say only 10-20% will. Then that raises Salah to 33-43%. Then, the managers who own neither of Salah nor Mane (27%) will get one of them. Say all of them go for Salah, that raises Salah to a max of 70% ownership (really doubt he will exceed 60% ownership though). Then only 40% still have TC left. So 40% of 70% will triple captain him, and 60% of 70% will captain him. Even with this very optimistic prediction, Salah has a EO ceiling of around 170%.

That’s nonsense. Mane might have higher EO than him in top 10k

Folk are blinkered into presuming salah is better (probably due to last season and Salahs price). Facts are Mané is getting much better chances and if you look at salah’s big chances in last 6 home games it makes pretty grim reading

When a player “shepherds the ball out of play” like Luiz did then, how is that not obstruction?

Making no attempt to play the ball and just getting in the way of the attacker.

GW36: Should I take -4 hit for: Gray -> Firmino

      & Son or Eriksen->Bilva???

More rotation risk with Spurs & I only need 1 Spurs mid.

BUT, who cares. Leeds lost and by Sunday we could be up. 3 sufc players next season... Yes please

We'll sign quite a few especially up top I'd think. Cbs and Fullbacks could be huge though, even Hendo as a 2nd keeper if he stays. Golden glove this season and we play 352 so fullbacks are basically wingers.
