Starts for Sterling, Aguero and Lacazette but Aubameyang misses out

Two Premier League fixtures take place this evening, bringing Double Gameweek 35 to a close.

Wolverhampton Wanderers host Arsenal in the 19:45 BST kick-off at Molineux before the Manchester derby gets underway at a rain-soaked Old Trafford 15 minutes later.

Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero both start for City but Pep Guardiola has made three changes to the side that beat Spurs on Saturday, with Vincent Kompany, Fernandinho and David Silva replacing John Stones, Phil Foden and the injured Kevin de Bruyne.

Bernardo Silva continues on the right flank with Sterling on the opposite wing, meaning no start for Riyad Mahrez or Leroy Sane.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has wielded the axe after the 4-0 loss at Everton, with Matteo Darmian, Luke Shaw, Ashley Young, Andreas Pereira and Jesse Lingard returning in place of Phil Jones, Diogo Dalot, Nemanja Matic, Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial.

All bar the injured Jones of those five players are among the substitutes.

There is no Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the Arsenal matchday squad, with the Gabonese striker and wing-back Sead Kolasinac among seven players to drop out of Unai Emery’s starting XI.

Arsenal say that Aubameyang misses out this evening having had a “small sinus procedure”, while Kolasinac is among the substitutes.

Shkodran Mustafi, Mohamed Elneny, Carl Jenkinson, Matteo Guendouzi and Konstantinos Mavraponos are the other men to make way as Sokratis, Nacho Monreal, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Granit Xhaka, Lucas Torreira, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi are recalled to Emery’s line-up.

The Arsenal head coach looks to be reverting to a 4-2-3-1, with Iwobi, Mkhitaryan and Mesut Ozil supporting Alexandre Lacazette in attack.

Leander Dendoncker for Morgan Gibbs-White is Nuno Espirito Santo’s only change, meaning that Raul Jimenez, Diogo Jota, Matt Doherty and Jonny all get two starts in Double Gameweek 35.

Manchester United XI: De Gea, Darmian, Lindelof, Smalling, Shaw, Young, Fred, Pereira, Pogba, Lingard, Rashford.

Manchester City XI: Ederson, Walker, Kompany, Laporte, Zinchenko, Fernandinho, Gundogan, Silva, Bernardo, Sterling, Aguero.

Wolves XI: Patricio, Bennett, Coady, Boly, Doherty, Dendoncker, Neves, Moutinho, Jonny, Jimenez, Jota

Arsenal XI: Leno, Maitland-Niles, Sokratis, Koscielny, Monreal, Torreira, Xhaka, Mkhitaryan, Ozil, Iwobi, Lacazette.

Cut my rival's 85 point lead down to 27 over last 5 gameweeks. Now i just need to use my triple captain, which he doesn't have, to help me make up that final ground.

TC mane this week? Would need to take a hit to get him in for KDB? Could TC sterling away to Burnley...

    lloris
    Doherty, duffy, TAA
    Sterling KDB*, eriksen, son
    Aguero, Jiminez, gray

Subs: ryan, ward prowse, bednarek, kolasinac

Well KDB to Mane definitely. Of course depending if KDB is definitely out. Tough for TC. I'm torn myself

Little bit tempted by using my TC on Sterling. Until City win the title (if they win the title) surely he will play.

Yes cant ignore Liverpool against Huddersfield but Sterling is in great form.

44 points from bench boost with no bench wankery. I can safely say it is by far the strongest chip after getting 25,24,14 and now 44.

It’s an interesting one because bench boost tends to mean more money on the bench for a few weeks which means that those weeks it is likely that your starting 11 is weaker and scores on average less points, including in the bench boost week. You also choose to use transfers and or a wildcard to set up for bench boost which is more points or essentially the equivalent of using two chips. Triple captain on the other hand is true extra points. Historically I have got in the region of 25 extra points out of the triple captain chip and similar on bench boost but I would agree that bench boost is probably worth more consistently season on season (even with the above caveats taken into account). I think all chips are overrated though and the thought that goes into playing them is huge given it only has maybe a 1-2% swing on your final total.

Looking at the stats DCL has a better xG. plus Everton have decent fixtures in the next two. I only need the a 3rd striker for the next two GWs as I have Jota and Deulo as 4th and 5th mids. I currently don't have any Liverpool attacking coverage. Thoughts appreciated.

Does anyone think Liverpool will win the league?

I think man city will because they won't drop any points from their remaining games. Liverpool could have but they didn't get as many points as city because they choked massively like before

                  Neither team had choked.
I think they will both end up with over 95 points.
How is that in any way choking?
                  Ridiculous.

Because Liverpool had a significant advantage over city and lost it

I hope so. But looks quite unlikely now. Need LEI to pull something out the bag, they've *probably* got the best chance to make City drop points? Unless Burnley transform into theirselves of last year
