Starts for Sterling, Aguero and Lacazette but Aubameyang misses out

Two Premier League fixtures take place this evening, bringing Double Gameweek 35 to a close.

Wolverhampton Wanderers host Arsenal in the 19:45 BST kick-off at Molineux before the Manchester derby gets underway at a rain-soaked Old Trafford 15 minutes later.

Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero both start for City but Pep Guardiola has made three changes to the side that beat Spurs on Saturday, with Vincent Kompany, Fernandinho and David Silva replacing John Stones, Phil Foden and the injured Kevin de Bruyne.

Bernardo Silva continues on the right flank with Sterling on the opposite wing, meaning no start for Riyad Mahrez or Leroy Sane.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has wielded the axe after the 4-0 loss at Everton, with Matteo Darmian, Luke Shaw, Ashley Young, Andreas Pereira and Jesse Lingard returning in place of Phil Jones, Diogo Dalot, Nemanja Matic, Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial.

All bar the injured Jones of those five players are among the substitutes.

There is no Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the Arsenal matchday squad, with the Gabonese striker and wing-back Sead Kolasinac among seven players to drop out of Unai Emery’s starting XI.

Arsenal say that Aubameyang misses out this evening having had a “small sinus procedure”, while Kolasinac is among the substitutes.

Shkodran Mustafi, Mohamed Elneny, Carl Jenkinson, Matteo Guendouzi and Konstantinos Mavraponos are the other men to make way as Sokratis, Nacho Monreal, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Granit Xhaka, Lucas Torreira, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi are recalled to Emery’s line-up.

The Arsenal head coach looks to be reverting to a 4-2-3-1, with Iwobi, Mkhitaryan and Mesut Ozil supporting Alexandre Lacazette in attack.

Leander Dendoncker for Morgan Gibbs-White is Nuno Espirito Santo’s only change, meaning that Raul Jimenez, Diogo Jota, Matt Doherty and Jonny all get two starts in Double Gameweek 35.

      With Ryan in goals i'd definitely be playing Doherty over Duffy.

      Id probably play Gray over Redmond too but its a 55/45

    Need some differentials if I want to win my League. Need to catch up 31 points to #1 and our teams are too similar.

    Most of the top contenders have both Mane and Sterling - am I suicidal for thinking about:

        Thanks. Thought about that as well. Best I could do would be Eriksen+Aguerop --> Mitrovic+Salah. Don't think that will pay off.

      Is Fernandinho out? If so Bernardo could return to midfield to allow Sane in. That will affect his points. That said it's not easy to stretch more with City cover. Siggy could be a punt if you feel it.

      I'd say to just play your own game and just aim to have the players who you think will score the most. Even small differences in teams/captaincy can have quite an impact on overall points.

          Yeah you cant really bench Robbo, Laporte or Trippier... Whats your full 11 though? With that much ££ invested in your defence I can't help but feel like Doh is potentially a better starter than one of your mid/fwds

        Sometimes your mistakes will lead to opportunity.

        Missed the deadline. Couldn't do Deeney+ Digne to Llorente+TAA and play benchboost.

        Got 90 points this week without any chip and both BB and TC left. Hoping for a strong finish in this pathetic season

        What a rollercoaster season so far.. 5 100+ scores, was top 3k in GW8, steadily rose from there to 530k in GW29 and im now just outside the top 100k again... Obviously not a brag just so up and down

                  Yeah.. I stuck with/captained Hazard for far too long while ignoring Aguero+Sterling. Also didnt hop on the Jiminez/Doherty train. Learnt a few lessons this time round ready for next season 🙂
