Sane joins Sterling and Aguero in the City attack at Turf Moor

The penultimate match of Gameweek 36 takes place at Turf Moor as Manchester City aim to extend their 11-match winning run and return to the top of the Premier League table.

Kick-off in Lancashire is at 14:05 BST.

There are no huge shocks in Pep Guardiola’s starting XI, with Fernandinho not recovering from the knee problem he picked up in midweek.

Bernardo Silva has thus dropped back into central midfield alongside David Silva and anchor Ilkay Gundogan, so Leroy Sane is handed a start on the left flank.

Raheem Sterling moves over to the right wing, with Sergio Aguero leading the line once more.

City’s back four is unchanged.

Sean Dyche has named the same starting XI for the fourth game in succession, with Phil Bardsley still not having recovered from a gashed leg.

The Burnley manager has resisted the urge to pack his midfield and defence for the visit of the reigning champions, pairing Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes in attack for the 17th league match in a row.

Outside of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, Aguero and Sterling were the two most-popular Triple Captain choices of Gameweek 36: 14,542 managers backed the Argetinean striker, with 8,997 deploying the chip on Sterling.

Bernardo was the second-most-bought FPL player of Gameweek 36, having been transferred in by 146,541 Fantasy bosses.

Aguero and Aymeric Laporte were also bought by over 100,000 FPL managers this week.

Burnley XI: Heaton, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, Hendrick, Cork, Westwood, McNeil, Wood, Barnes.

Subs: Hart, Gudmundsson, Gibson, Ward, Vydra, Long, Driscoll-Glennon.

Manchester City XI: Ederson, Walker, Kompany, Laporte, Zinchenko, Gundogan, Bernardo, Silva, Sterling, Sane, Aguero.

Subs: Muric, Danilo, Stones, Mahrez, Otamendi, Jesus, Foden.

    I’m looking for some fellow Liverpool volunteers. If Burnley can hold off Man City today I plan on making a trip to Burnley to felace the whole team and manager. I think I can only handle 3 so I’ll need 4 little helpers who can also handle 3.
    Any volunteers?

    Today's three games have most of my England starting eleven for the UEFA Nations League finals (taking into account injuries):

    Heaton
    Walker, Stones, Keane, Chilwell;
    Loftus-Cheek, Henderson, Maddison;
    Rashford, Vardy, Sterling.

          If Kane is still injured then switch Rashford up front and bring in Sancho on the right.

        He did. But people have been persuaded to come out of retirement before. In Vardy's case, Southgate should ask him to, with Kane injured.

    It really is hotting up in the battle to finish outside the top 4.
    Spurs are doing incredibly well with 6 losses out of 10.
    Including a horrible loss at home to a leaky West Ham defence.
    But Arsenal don’t want their bitter rivals going worse than them. Nicely played getting the man sent off early and letting the keeper set up Vardy. Arsenal also did a fantastic job of setting a new club record of 33% possession, smashing they’re previous worst of 35%. They also only had 27% in the first half, also a new record.

    Utd have asked Pogba to be as poisonous as he can and is duly doing so. He has been inspirational in his demotivation of the team. Everyone looks really down and out and have lost 7 of the last 9. A record.
    Chelsea quite clever in hiring the fattest striker in Europe to at least attempt to limit Hazards out put.
    Sarri pulled off a master stroke in changing the position of the worlds best defensive midfielder and pushing him up front to leave Jorginho exposed.
    With all these geniuses at play, nobody can safely say they’ll finish outside the top 4.
