FPL Question Time – Consult our panel ahead of Gameweek 38

For the final time this season, we are taking your questions to put to our panel.

Gameweek 38 will round-up the 2018/19 season on Sunday afternoon but there is still plenty on the line for Fantasy managers.

If you’re looking for the scoop on the players to sign or shift, or perhaps a differential tactic, then you’ve come to the right place.

Who’s on the panel this week?

    I am thinking doing Firmino + Son > Aguero(C) + Redmond. Cant see anyone else than Aguero to be scoring 2 or more goals. Thoughts?

    Dilemma

    My GKs are Hamer & Boruc, so there is a good chance neither will play GW38. I have 2 FTs. Should I...

    Prioritise a GK with one of the FTs or do Hazard & Son > Sterling & B Silva

    I am top of my ML by 1pt to 2nd and 7pts to 3rd, so nothing in it, but my rivals have Sterling so I am worried that could be what costs me the title. I am happy with the rest of my team.

              I don’t disagree considering the situation, but TAA was due back and it took another 3 weeks, I don’t see redmond rising tonight so figure it’s better to wait and see rather than rush

        Why?

        His form has been off for weeks and weeks - it wasn’t much of a stretch to drop him last week anyway and then he had Bournemouth and not the most in form defence in the land

          Bournemouth defense is actually okay at home, avg. of 1.3 goals conceded same as Watford and slightly above Everton. Plus, he played only the first half. He can be explosive anytime.

          Form is transient. For argument's sake, Sterling's return has been abysmal in the last 4 week even though the games are critical and they are playing only EPL but people still captained him and will captain for GW38 because he can be explosive. Same for Wilson

    One of my pre season targets was to finish higher than mark (as it meant that I should at least have a decent OR). Going into gw38 we are both on the same points (2416) and only a couple of places apart (around 440 rank). This means that I have something to fight for in the last week. If only mark was aware of it.
    Is it unfair if I try to beat someone who doesn't even know that I am trying to ?
    How exciting !!!!

        No, totally independent. It's just coincidence that we are tied. I've only looked at his team a dozen times during the season. I just check on him and ville ronka and sometimes Simon March occasionally. They are all clever players but with differing strategies.
        Does that make me a stalker ?
        Looking forward to the last gameweek though.

        It's no fixation (no worse than your dean Martin fixation, according to your grav) and it's no different from anyone trying to finish higher than their mate. I've already said that "it should give me a good OR".
