FPL Question Time – Consult our panel ahead of Gameweek 38

For the final time this season, we are taking your questions to put to our panel.

Gameweek 38 will round-up the 2018/19 season on Sunday afternoon but there is still plenty on the line for Fantasy managers.

If you’re looking for the scoop on the players to sign or shift, or perhaps a differential tactic, then you’ve come to the right place.

Who’s on the panel this week?

    Has anyone looked at his away record this season in PL?
    15 home goals 5 away.

          aguero has attempt at home every 24 mins, away every 18 mins
          city had 386 attempts at home and 277 away
          so agueros involvement home and away is in alignment, at least by that measure

    Would you start Jimenez (liv) OR Wilson (cry)?

    Obviously Wilson has the much easier fixture but Jimenez has a great record against the top teams, so curious what the general consensus is.

    Maybe even Shaq/Origi/Sturr if Firm and Salah out?

          recall city keeping 4 CS in 15 games up until early/mid feb, which seemed to spook everyone. i just kept laporte the whole time then added ederson and it has paid off overall. managed to dodge a few aguero bullets.

    Defending a 19 point lead for my money league title, so I just don't want to do anything stupid. Already dumped Son for Pogba and have one free left (0.1m ITB) and the consensus seems to be to drop Jimenez. My team right now:

    Lloris
    Laporte-Robertson-Valery [Boly on bench]
    Sterling (C) - Pogba (V) - Mane - Ward Prowse [Jota on bench]
    Vardy - Rashford - Jimenez?

    lots of options being suggested in place of Jimenez, what do you guys think? I could trade down and with the extra funds upgrade elsewhere but I think with the league lead taking a -4 would be a foolish move. I know the guy chasing me has a very similar team to mine so let him take the chances for differentials. Who's the best F to have in place of Jimenez with my remaining free transfer? Thanks in advance for the advice.

        that doesn't make sense for me. Babel isn't better than Sterling, Pogba or Mane and to swap with Ward Prowse I'd have to make another move and take a -4 because Babel is .5m more.

    Evening lads... considering a final hit going into this week with a Son + Jiminez > Pogba + Rashford move. Gives me a team of:

    Ryan Bednarek Doherty 4.0

    Terrible season so I'm just looking to lump on... aware of the form and risks. Opinions or better moves welcome.

      simply comes down to whether you think rashford outscores jimi by 4 points on average in these types of fixtures. the stats dont back it up but if you fancy a gamble then why not
