Leicester differentials could reward investment in 2019/20

Leicester City’s squad could provide Fantasy Premier League managers with some powerful differentials in the early part of 2019/20.

Probably because of uninspiring opening fixtures, none of Brendan Rodgers’ players is owned by more than 13.7% ahead of Gameweek 1.

However, there is enough in the underlying statistics from last year to suggest the Foxes could enjoy Rodgers’ first full season at the helm.

As this article uses data Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those who are signed up for the 2019/20 can access it in full.

Hi. If moise Kean is 7m or 7.5m, will people look to include from the off?

Perhaps at the expense of a 6.5m. Or is it a wait and see?

    Thanks

I’m not convinced he’s the type of striker they need, so its a wait and see for me.

Hedge posted a great article the other day, and regarding keepers suggested going premium was better. I’ve stuck with Ederson but seeing mainly 4.5 keepers on here.
I guess 4.5 just to spread more funds?

    Heaton/Pope/Henderson (Button)

    TAA VVD/Laporte Shaw (4.0, 4.0)
    Sterling Barkley Martial Perez (Dendonk)
    Kane (C) Auba Origi

There is a case for Auba Kane Sterling over KSS teams but it helps to spread the funds I think. My front six is

      Sterling Fraser Perez Barkley
      Kane Auba

I have Barkley as the makeweight who goes in week 3. You have Origi and Barkley. Much dicier.

It could do although I think signings like Heaton is magnificent for them. A very good stable goalkeeper to calm the defence.

There are some wildcards with the signings but i'd take those signings over the ones sheff united/norwich have made. Villa by far have the better squad over those 2

Can somebody explain to me the WCGW3 strategy. Many seem to be supplementing it with BBGW1

    1. Ask Yourself
      • 7 Years
      4 years, 8 months ago

      Yes of course I can.
Basically as there is so much certainty as my fellow cow stated, aswell as a sea change in good fixtures for teams that have a tough start and vice versa as well as returning key FPL assets from suspension, International tournaments and injury etc it is much more optimal to redesign your team when we have all of this available. It makes a much better team that way, also focusing on the first two fixtures allows you to essentially have a 2 week free hit. I personally won’t be BBing I don’t think as the players required on the bench to have a good team aren’t the best, but I will definitely set my team up to WCGW3

Nice to see you back CKMS! I wish I had the answer man, i’m Looking for one myself, at one moment it looks like one is emerging then they sign someone to replace them. Keep an eye on ceballos (could play no10, if not a roaming playmaker in a world class attacking outfit) and i’m Currently looking at Norwood (all set pieces and maybe pens?) At SHU only 5m with nice fixtures maybe worth a go. Other than that I am waiting for the “one” but no one impressing me all that much

He was indeed. We got fornals instead who I am much happier with but both not far away from world class and very young. They could have gone much bigger than what they have but it has made the PL very interesting and competitive this year. Wilshere can do the ceballos job for us well enough I think. Very excited for West Ham this year. Who do you support?

I have to watch third tier i'm afraid, with Sunderland. However, I used to coach junior football and a couple of players I have been involved with are now playing for the first team. So a great season ahead for me.

I have fond memories of Sunderland in the PL as they were the first match I saw Vs Man U in their PL days so I was sad to see them fall.
Wow that’s very cool you must be proud to see them out there, that is some achievement. Best of luck to Sunderland and to them this year I will keep an eye out!

So this is where I'm at....I'm set for a 4-5-1 with a budget striker until I need a bigger squad.

    Heaton
    VVD TAA Digne WanB
    Salah Sterling Perez Brooks Jorg
    Kane

My only issue is with Jorginho...obviously. Any ideas on where to potentially free up 0.5

    I'm thinking the following..

    A) WanB > WalkerPeters
    B) Perez > Barkley

I plan on eventually swapping Kane/Jorghino to Son/Wood but not sure when....it's just a better value combination for the money

Sorry...to be clear. I'm starting premium but will downgrade Kane to a 6.5 when Son becomes free.

    Pope
    Coleman / VVD / Cathcart
    Salah / KDB / Martial / Perez
    Vardy / King / Kane

    4.0 Dendonk / Lundstram / Rico

Still not budged from this for ages. Although seeing Barkley in so many teams now is making me think twice about my Martial punt. That 1.5 could make a hell of a difference.

I will probably end up sticking with this team and swapping to Barkley if he’s looking decent. There’s just something in my gut telling me that Martial is going to actually do something this season.

    What do we think...??

I support your gut feeling. He has a great output and ought to do well this season.

In what way? Even with Europa he's a top striker.

I've been considering the Europa factor for a long time now.

I am with Jota. Regardless. He's awesome, he's 6.5. Who doesn't have risks at this price range anyway?

Yeah I agree. And it's a price point you can easily switch to another one
