How Liverpool’s key FPL assets compare ahead of 2019/20

With a week to go before Gameweek 1, five of the eight most-owned Fantasy Premier League assets are on Liverpool’s books.

The Reds’ players were a rich source of FPL points last season and there is optimism that they can replicate that in 2019/20, although we have had to swallow price rises with a number of their key Fantasy assets.

FPL managers will be especially keen on Liverpool in the first two months of the upcoming season, with the Reds sitting second on our Season Ticker in Gameweeks 1 to 8.

Can the Reds match their performance levels of 2018/19, though?

      Starting for me currently - great FPL pick when fit & on pens

      Scored 3 in 4 at the start of last season - hopefully he can repeat

      Nice team.
      Would rather have another goalie. Spurs not solid enough at back.
      Barkley is not nailed starter. Not nailed for pens, If he is he can be a good option. Surley an ok option.
      Weak attack, specially If you need to upgread before Wc.

      Not keen on 4-5-1 unless the forward is a premium like Kane .Agree that Barkley is a wait and see but Lloris is fine as a set and forget....145 pts last season and he missed 5 games.

    Providing Maguire passes his medical and agrees terms, I think he’ll provide exceptional fantasy value at £5.5m. A threat from set pieces and playing with AWB, Lindelöf and Shaw in front of a world-class ‘keeper, he could potentially end up on 150+ points this season and double Utd’s clean sheet tally - especially with the much discussed forward line press.
