Which Spurs players are worth owning in FPL this season?

Tottenham Hotspur players are causing some Fantasy Premier League managers dilemmas at the start of the season.

They have a favourable opening fixture at home to Aston Villa but with a trip to Manchester City in Gameweek 2 and relatively expensive price points, their assets could be the ones to miss out on those initial teams.

However, there are some encouraging reasons to own some of Mauricio Pochettino’s players at the start of the new campaign.

In this article we assess Spurs’ defensive and attacking potential based on last season’s underlying statistics.

As this analysis uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those who have signed up for the 2019/20 season can access it in full.

    What's happening with Alireza Jahanbakhsh? I literally haven't seen anybody even mention him. He had ridiculous stats in Eredivisie and i had high hopes for him and then he didn't have a single goal or assist last season. Can he bounce back?

    Been trying this evening to get KDB in without losing Wilson and weakening defence too much. Need 4.5 defender and 6 m forward. Taylor nailed looking at minutes played last season, attacking and assist potential. Wesley seems nailed, probably on penalties and good fixtures after week 1. Team good enough to go ? Or back to the tinkering board!

      This same dilemma has caused me no end of pain over the last week.

      Eventually got it down to Dunk and Cathcart, but was still uncomfortable.

      In the end I decided to go with a 5.0 and a 4.0 instead.
