Which Watford players should FPL managers consider in 2019/20?

It’s as you were for Watford going into the start of the 2019/20 campaign.

At the time of writing and with just 24 hours before the transfer window closes, the Hornets had made only two first-team signings this summer – one of them Danny Welbeck.

Centre-half Craig Dawson (£5.0m) has arrived from West Bromwich Albion and he was the only player not on the books in 2018/19 who was involved in Watford’s final pre-season friendly against Real Sociedad last weekend.

Javi Gracia’s side are also set to be lining up in their familiar 4-2-2-2/4-4-2 shape, with the Watford boss having briefly experimented with a three-man backline in their penultimate friendly against QPR.

We can be fairly confident about the system and personnel going into Gameweek 1 and beyond, then, but what can Fantasy managers expect from Watford’s players this season and are they worthy of consideration?

    I know the rotations for Home/Away games, but has anyone done a spreadsheet or document about defensive rotations based on favorable fixtures this year? any info appreciated. thanks

      You can sort the season ticker by rotation due to fixtire difficulty in the members area. It's pretty useful

            cool, but importantly, no rotation pair....
            I know its not a very popular tactic this year, but i might try a 4.0 and 4.5 rotating pair, along side some big guns.

    Interesting per Sky Sports - Chelsea defence is 'no-go' IMO:

    LUIZ WANTS ARSENAL MOVE
    Chelsea defender David Luiz trained away from the rest of the squad today, according to Sky sources. Luiz wants to go to Arsenal, although the Brazilian is one of a number of central defenders the Gunners are looking at. However, no formal bid has been made yet. Chelsea would be reluctant to let Luiz go as they under a transfer ban and would not be able to sign a replacement.

      They'll score well in relation to other players at that price but you wouldn't be maximising your points potential from Liverpool assets.

      I prefer Auba for the first 2. Gives you the option in GW3 to switch to Kane or downgrade him and invest more in midfield. Also, he could be a captain alternative to Salah in GW2.

    With Luiz trying to force a move to Arsenal, that surely says he wasn’t going to be part of Lampard’s first XI.

    That makes Zouma a very cheap and nailed way into Chelse’s defence
