Which Watford players should FPL managers consider in 2019/20?

It’s as you were for Watford going into the start of the 2019/20 campaign.

At the time of writing and with just 24 hours before the transfer window closes, the Hornets had made only two first-team signings this summer – one of them Danny Welbeck.

Centre-half Craig Dawson (£5.0m) has arrived from West Bromwich Albion and he was the only player not on the books in 2018/19 who was involved in Watford’s final pre-season friendly against Real Sociedad last weekend.

Javi Gracia’s side are also set to be lining up in their familiar 4-2-2-2/4-4-2 shape, with the Watford boss having briefly experimented with a three-man backline in their penultimate friendly against QPR.

    Ceballos - anyone got any info on him?

    I assumed he would play defensive midfield but is it possible he has an attacking role which if so would make him a potentially great pick?

      He can play in that Ramsey role bombing forward making late runs to the box or he can play the Ozil rile behind the striker as he did for Spain U-21. It remains to be seen where he fits in exactly. Can become good but as with most of the new signings its a wait and see.

      I’m a big fan of Digne so A (but not if you have Ryan in goal)

      If you are considering Dunk have you looked at Montoya - think he will play on the side of a midfield 4 and get forward this season

      Not a big fan of Pulisic, he was horrible in the monglabach match. If you had to have a chelsea dude, it would be barkely or tammy

    Got a kind of different SSK team.

    Saints have been playing ok pre-season and have some ok fixtures and Calvert Lewin can be changed in the first few weeks if need be.

      Luisa is a no go after asking for a transfer to Arsenal today.

      I think one striker needs to go to upgrade the midfield...Wilson if you are determined to have Kane and Aubu.

    Took part in my first draft - 4 man league. How did i do?
    I picked 4th Salah Sterling & Aguero were gone went KDB over Auba as i was worried about having no City attacker

    Am I crazy to start the season with triple Bournemouth attack as I assess the best 7.5 or below mid options (Martial, Zaha, Maddison) and 6.5 and below FWDs (Jota, Wood/Barnes, Ings)?
    Their opening two games are about as good as it gets

      People see confident Lundstram will get a lot of games. Rico unsure. Unless he’s your 3rd sub and don’t ever expect to need him

      If you've got nailed players e.g. Digne, VVD and Robbo as your 3 then I don't think it's a huge risk. Lots of scaremongering going on. Literally can't see a decent 4.5 option anyway so if the 0.5 saves gets you a decent upgrade elsewhere then go for it.

    At the moment I have Milivojevic in my team, because I expect him to be Palace's main penalty taker this season. Now I got some doubts about him, when I see some rumors that Zaha will leave Palace this summer. Does anyone have options for a 7.0m or less midfielder other than Milivojevic?
    Note: My current midfield is: Perez, Rice, Salah, Milivojevic and Fraser.
