Which Watford players should FPL managers consider in 2019/20?

It’s as you were for Watford going into the start of the 2019/20 campaign.

At the time of writing and with just 24 hours before the transfer window closes, the Hornets had made only two first-team signings this summer – one of them Danny Welbeck.

Centre-half Craig Dawson (£5.0m) has arrived from West Bromwich Albion and he was the only player not on the books in 2018/19 who was involved in Watford’s final pre-season friendly against Real Sociedad last weekend.

Javi Gracia’s side are also set to be lining up in their familiar 4-2-2-2/4-4-2 shape, with the Watford boss having briefly experimented with a three-man backline in their penultimate friendly against QPR.

We can be fairly confident about the system and personnel going into Gameweek 1 and beyond, then, but what can Fantasy managers expect from Watford’s players this season and are they worthy of consideration?

      Bilva's game style isn't FPL-friendly. Sane beat him by 2 points in about a 1000 fewer minutes in the same team... And Bilva had more minutes than Sterling. It takes a lot of patience to keep Bilva as a set-and-forget kind of option as the points will tick over, but that patience is difficult

      Siggy should be involved in a lot of what happens in Everton's attack... If a lot does happen

      Still, I prefer having just Digne for now from Everton

      I don't like Ings personally as they don't have great fixtures and he will inevitably get injured. Shaw I'm not sure on, have united improved that much? Otherwise it's solid. 🙂

      2) I don't think Lukaku will be there at the end of the transfer window.
      3) I don't think there will be a lot, but could be beneficial with more goals ruled offside?
      5) Sterling will still be better value, especially as you will be happier putting the armband on him.
