Which Watford players should FPL managers consider in 2019/20?

It’s as you were for Watford going into the start of the 2019/20 campaign.

At the time of writing and with just 24 hours before the transfer window closes, the Hornets had made only two first-team signings this summer – one of them Danny Welbeck.

Centre-half Craig Dawson (£5.0m) has arrived from West Bromwich Albion and he was the only player not on the books in 2018/19 who was involved in Watford’s final pre-season friendly against Real Sociedad last weekend.

Javi Gracia’s side are also set to be lining up in their familiar 4-2-2-2/4-4-2 shape, with the Watford boss having briefly experimented with a three-man backline in their penultimate friendly against QPR.

    Anyone thinking of rotating 4.5m defenders?

    Taylor for W1 then Diop W2 onwards, for example? Looks like it might be a better option than 5.0 + 4.0 defenders.

        Cheers, also on those first three. And Taylor actually, and Dunk looks a good option from W2 onwards. Still unsure about West Ham defensively but Diop in my thoughts too.

    Just spent some time in the members section comparing King(full season) and Jota(20 to 38) to every other forward sub 9.5 million(using game week range to match their minutes) and comparing Kane and Auba with the premium mids. Decisions are now made :). Hopefully this isn't a case of membership shooting me in the foot lol

        Nope.. Going with both Jota, King and going to sleep peacefully tnite. Regards auba and Kane.. Miles ahead of the other strikers. Going with Salah, Sterling and Auba for now with those 2 cheap forwards alongside them 🙂
