Bournemouth fixtures are good, actually thinking of Fraser, Wilson & King ... Madness or just eggs in a basket?

I can understand how youve ended up there.... im nearng it myself

the 6.5 options arent great hense king and the 7.35's have issues hense fraser... and wilson is a machine to score ...

easy jump off them when others in that bracket emerge

think I am going similar route, Wilson is a 'must', Fraser is a good placeholder till some 7.5 like Pulisic or Martial or Zaha due to good fixture.

only one not sure is King, many good cheap option, but fixture points to king

I took Zaha out for Fraser, Delefeou for King. I don't like the way CPY are shaping up, but I like BOU. They are all capable of points on a good run of fixtures, just that BOU fixtures are better ...

    Actually really happy now tbh.

    Hendo
    Robo VVD Digne Dunk
    Salah Sterl Robinson Perez
    Aubameyang Wesley
    (Stek, Diop, Greenwood, Dendonk)

Decent enough bench cover as well as 0.5 itb for Wesley to an emerging 6.5 or Robinson to a 6.0m if fails. Also Aubam to Wilson, Perez to Pepe/Son possible etc.

      Looks good.

Although having to rotate a 4.5m def every week ain't great. Would probably just get 4.0s and upgrade Dendonck probably to Barkley or smth.

Cheers. Could do but not keen on any of the 6.0 mids tbh and weakens bench + gets rid of the 0.5itb for security.

Like it. Similar to mine, identical midfield, but I've got Kane and Ings up top though, TAA for VVD, and our boy Enda (+ Rico) where you've got Dunk and Diop.

Plan is to move Enda to Zouma/Christensen after GW3, providing Luiz leaves and one of them is nailed.

      1. Tsparkes10
        • 5 Years

Love it bro. Really want Enda tbh but Deno is the main man and don't wanna double up on our defence haha. Tempting to go Heaton and Stevens tbh... Hmmm. Hope Robinson works out

Funny you should mention that, because I swapped Deano to Heaton half an hour ago and had completely forgotten I'd done it... LOL. Need the deadline to arrive, can't stop tinkering.

Deano vs Heaton vs Pope vs Ryan is so tough. Ryan looks the worst, but at least he has a 4.0 back-up; we know how good Deano is; Heaton has great fixtures; Pope will probably score the highest across the season because of save points, imo, but don't like his fixtures...

Really hoping Robinson works out too - not least because I've half-accidentally persuaded the Alon and Walsh at FML FPL (and a lot of their listeners, apparently) to bring him in! Looks like your touting's worked here too, seems to be in a lot of teams now! We're gonna get a lot of stick if he flops 😛

For me I just love deno and think we'll keep a decent amount of Cs at home tbf with save points. Double digit deno inbound hahaha

Oh dear oh dear, everyone seems my grav and boom. First question... Is Robo nailed and I'm like no but he's my punt and he'll play on Sat. In before mcgoldrick and Sharp up top fs. That'd be hilarious

Ahhh don't do this to me haha. I want Sterling but love KDB. So exciting to watch and on set pieces. Plus gives me funds to bring in Wilson or Fraser who tbh I ain't keen on anyways. Idk what I'd do with the money as Welsey and Robo are staying!!

Glad to hear you're a fan though Raga and been keeping updated 😉

Makes sense. Yeah I have been following your team since I liked the KDB pick 😛 Why do you prefer Wesley to King/Jota etc? Also why Hendo over Pope/Heaton?

          1. Tsparkes10
            • 5 Years
            4 years, 8 months ago

Prefer his fixtures and like a punt. Feel Bourne are a trip and too overhyped so tryna Stear clear. Did like Jota at start but fixtures and Europa league are questionable. Don't like Burnley at all and Hendo just due to our home form and save points I think he'll do well. Also love the lad and his big personality :).

KDB defo food for thought though. Would allow Perez To Pepe and Aubam to Kane in GW3 which sounds tasty.

Yeah you got something solid man. Join my Montoya Guilbert rotation? They offer much more attacking threat than your defenders do imo. Much more exciting to watch attacking wing backs than to keep hoping for set pieces. Jealous that you have a pool Full back. I prefer OOP martial (just)

Cheers :). Aubam hype is where its at. Might join you tbf. Defo going to switch to Dunk but like most of Brighton fixtures tbh and Diop is there for GW 4 vs Norwich at home.

Not sold on martial at all even think Greenwood may take his place at some point tbh but who knows

Lol x it can be but it doesn’r Have to be. If it’s only a little unsettled come GW3 I will do a mini WCGW3/4. Robinson the only player getting in my grill as wilder loves to rotate. Is it too much to expect him to score every game to avoid this fate?

BB went a while ago as it became harder and harder to find value in teams with a good GW1.
WCGW3 went when I saw a team on here by guilty sigurdsson which made me realise that I was missing out on some great players like Sterling and Perez. I then made myself feel good about that for a couple of days and then realised I had to fit salah in there somehow too which is what you see before you.

I'm confused?!! Zinc & KWP is 10.5 as is Digne & Taylor!! Anyway Digne & KWP for 11 for me.

How ‘safe’ would you say Taylor is?

The fact Jonty owns him fills with me with a bit of confidence as he usually likes ‘safe’ picks but I’m a tad worried about Pieters

Pieters won’t be a first team player don’r worry they just needed a back up

I’m fairly happy with my team but would love to find another million to upgrade Del to Haller. Any suggestions?

    Heaton (Button)
    TAA VVD Digne (Rico Lundstram)
    Salah Sterling Fraser Fornals Perez
    Wilson Deulofue (Wickham)

I’d do something with Fraser as double Bournemouth attack too much for me but surely you won’t want another 6.5m mid as you have the best ones. Only other route is downgrading Digne to 4.5 and upgrading Lundstram to another 4.5 to rotate with.

I think fornals is enough West Ham for city at home. Deulofeu > wood then reassess later on imo

Ryan got basically the same amount of points last year as did Heaton in his two best hero seasons.

Anyone going triple Bou for the first few before reassessing? Feels like they are the best picks at their price points.

Stones more nailed than Zinchenko? I doubt Pep would move Walker to RCB to partner Laporte - was awful in that position at the world cup and it was essentially a three at the back.

Nice team. Why Barkley as your 6m mid?

Not sure. I wanted a Chelsea player and he emerged as an option. Anyone else on your mind?

Looking at Harry Wilson myself for the easier first two fixtures and possibly making the swap come gw3 to Barkley.

    Argh. Should I :

    A) play 442 with a 5.5m def (Maguire) and 4.5 bench mid
    Or
    B) play 352 with a 6m mid (Wilson/Barkley) and 4m bench def

    Heaton
    Robertson, VVD, Digne, ___
    Salah, Sterling, Martial, Perez, ___
    Wilson, Wood

    Button, Greenwood, Frederic’s, ___

Strong team for GW 1. GW2 will get a bit ugly. The backline has decent strength.

Current squad. Fourth and fifth mids are rather meh. Thought maybe downgrade Wood or Jim to Greenwood, then upgrade 4th mid? Other thoughts? GTG?

    Ryan, Pope
    Robbo, TAA, Zinchenko, Dunk, Kelly
    Salah, Sterling, Ayoze, Robinson, Dendoncker
    Wilson, Wood, Jimenez

That was one of the thoughts, too. Leaves me with 6.5 for that spot. Not wild about some of the options, I admit. Which is why I thought a deeper downgrade. But I'll see what I can must with Jim>Jota in place.
        Thanks!

Just watched Haller's highlights. He's a special player.

WHU have a history of ruining every single high profile player they signed though. It's somehow always a dud with these guys isn't it?

No worries, not guarenteed to start every game ofcourse but certainly will on Sat and think he'll do well. At the end of the day he's 5.5m so not much can go too wrong

I think I'm pretty much settled even though I've got a few obvious problems.

    Pope
    TAA Robertson Coleman Zinchenko
    Salah Sterling Fraser Perez
    Vardy Wesley

    Woodman Greenwood Donck Rico

Quite wanna stick with both TAA and Robbo because loads dropping one for VVD. I know Coleman and Zinch are riskier after today but can't see who I'd rather have. Thinking of swapping Fraser to Martial after first two if he looks even slightly arsed. I'm not too keen on double Leicester but I want Vardy and Perez could be amazing value.

I love it and your Leicester double up. Wesley pick I am not so convinced by. Prefer ings but long term Wesley fixtures better. G2G for me mate it’s been an emotional pre season I can’t believe we are about to finalise our teams

Thanks mate, I'd have Maupay over Wesley if I knew he was definitely starting GW1 but at least Villa have good fixtures after and he's nailed plus on pens. I think Trossard or Maupay could be great picks if Brighton start well.

I agree. I expect Brighton to do very well this year and I hope Montoya can get lots of assists for maupay but Wesley is a nice alternative. If Potter says maupay ready to start go with him tho imo

you can change coleman to digne and downgrade zinch to a 4.5-5. makes two risks into 1, the problem is not alot of 4.5-5's going around, i went dunk myself but keeping an eye on zouma maybe
