Fantasy Premier League managers might want to exercise caution over West Ham assets at the start of 2019/20.

The Hammer start with a tough opening weekend fixture against Manchester City, but it is hard to guarantee Fantasy potential even in the more appealing matches that follow.

Looking at last season’s data, there is a possibility that their new-look attack could take some time to gel.

Meanwhile, the Hammers defence was questionable in 2018/19.

We’ve taken a look at all areas of Manuel Pellegrini’s team last season to see where Fantasy manager can find value in 2019/20.

      Also, Southampton at home isn't the meanest defence, so I'll take anything from 6 x 2 to 10 x 2 from Salah (C) in that match

    Really like the strikers at 6.5M and below and think there are loads of options for the season ahead but how do you pick to for the opening gameweeks? Seems like either take a gamble for a team with good fixtures but unknown who will play upfront (Murray, Maupay, Deeney, Deulofeu) or go for players with poor fixtures but more nailed (Wesley, Pukki, Wood, Adams, Jota)

      You should have left out the 'I have Wilson part'.
      King for me but Wood looks an okay opening day punt at 6.5.
      I like a couple of the 6.0 strikers so its going to be a very interesting season I feel...GL!

    How has the mood changed on here in the final prep week compared to when the game opened, my five:

    1. Many managers have chickened out of going super heavy at the back.
    2. Montoya has suddenly become an FPL rockstar!
    3. Everton assets have become less and less appealing to many managers.
    4. Auba is being criminally overlooked.
    5. Triple LIV defence has gotten lost in cyberspace.
