Can Wolves’ FPL assets perform as well in 2019/20?

Wolverhampton Wanderers were one of the big success stories of last season, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s impressive side finishing seventh in their first Premier League campaign in six years.

The West Midlands club offered Fantasy managers some notable bargain buys, with Matt Doherty (£6.0m), Diogo Jota (£6.5m) and Raul Jimenez (£7.5m) the three stand-out assets.

Doherty, Jimenez and several others have been handed price rises in Fantasy Premier League this summer, however, and aren’t quite the cut-price gems they were 12 months ago.

    No interest in chambers at all? Played a lot in preseason. What are the chances he is a starter if Arsenal don't sign Luiz? And what if they do? Surely he is above Mustafi in pecking order.

      Don't go near Arsenal defence until Holding and Bellerin are back, clean sheets look highly unlikely unless things improve dramatically in the early weeks.

      I'm tempted by Robinson but he's not a certain starter (see team news). I've gone Ryan and Zinchenko over Ederson and Dunk, 0.5 cheaper and more chance of both save and attacking points without effecting the number of potential clean sheets.

    With Charlie Taylor not worth the risk with injury concern + Pieters signing, I need to find a new 4.5 defender rotation!

    Cathcart + Diop works decently, but not perfectly, with a home match for Diop vs Man U required in GW6.

    Montoya works better with either of them fixture-wise, but not convinced I want to start with a Brighton defender...

    rate my uber defence rotation team?

    this tactic worked very well last season until i changed it for no reason lol
    the point is to have a very strong front 7 while your defence does enough to get by. the defence will play favourable fixtures only

      What works one year doesn't mean it will the next.

      Risky this year when there is so much to be had at the back and your front 7 especially aren't even all guaranteed starters or performers every week.

      Not much to fall back on when City Pool Chelsea and the other wing backs are posting double digits

          Basically meant performer. Wesley and KDB (injury and rotation throughout the year for sure) and Pulisic.

          You're gonna have weeks of less than 40 pts total with that lot if you get captain wrong and (we all have) a quiet week from salah/raz.

            yeah kdb is good while fit... he is fit and in form... am i supposed to ignore him?

            welsey is a punt... i can't have it all... i have to compromise somewhere

            pulisic isn't set in stone... just no idea who to get... i have a 7.5m budget

            when i tried this last season i had well above average pts in many weeks and was top 50k...

            i changed it to a template like what is all over the rmts and i fell position
