Barkley and Mount both start as Pulisic drops to the bench

The final fixture of Gameweek 1 takes place at 16:30 BST as Manchester United welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford.

There weren’t too many shocks upon the release of the teamsheets but perhaps the headline news was that both Mason Mount (£6.0m) and Ross Barkley (£6.0m) – rather than one or the other – start together in Frank Lampard’s first Premier League starting XI as Chelsea manager.

Christian Pulisic (£7.5m) is the man to make way, with the USA international dropping to the bench.

Pedro (£7.0m) completes the trio of attacking midfielders lining up behind lone striker Tammy Abraham (£7.0m).

N’Golo Kante (£5.0m) is only fit enough for a place on the bench, while Willian (£7.0m) and Antonio Rudiger (£6.0m) miss out.

Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka (both £5.5m) are handed their competitive United debuts but Daniel James (£6.0m) is only a substitute.

Andreas Pereira (£5.0m) instead gets the nod and will line up in ‘the hole’, with Jesse Lingard (£6.5m) on the right flank and Marcus Rashford (£8.5m) stationed on the opposite wing.

An ‘out of position’ Anthony Martial (£7.5m) is reportedly set to lead the line.

Budget FPL forward Mason Greenwood (£4.5m) is on the bench, meanwhile.

Chelsea XI: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Zouma, Emerson, Kovacic, Jorginho, Mount, Barkley, Pedro, Abraham.

Manchester United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Shaw, Maguire, Lindelof, McTominay, Pereira, Pogba, Lingard, Rashford, Martial.

      That's the top 5% almost. Honestly, the first week is by far the most competitive, and scoring top 5% a few weeks in a row will leave you top 1,000 without a doubt.

      First week all teams are active, no injuries on their squad, etc. Everyone in the top 100 seems to have burned their chips too, can't see them lasting up there for very long. Wait and you'll see.

        That's the point. Any talk of them making top 4 is laughable. Tammy Abraham looks like a 10 goal striker and nothing more

          Abraham wasnt ready for the PL last time, and he probably still isnt. He looks amazing in the championship for sure, it catches people out. Chelsea have a big problem there though, im not sure Giroud is better utilised at a starter week in week out, he is better as an impact sub.
          Willian is desperately needed to keep this Chelsea side afloat

      Compare that to the way Alli, Vertonghen and Sessegnon looked yesterday at the Spurs game. Not even interested in what was happening. Alli spent all his time on his phone.

      Sessegnon only just signed for the club - you would think he would be excited.

    Shaw didn't look good going forward today, I think I might have made the wrong choice out of the Utd defender bunch. Long-term, Maguire looks the best option imo.
