The best West Ham players for their appealing fixtures

West Ham players are now on the Fantasy Premier League radar after their 3-1 win over Watford.

The Hammers have also have a favourable streak of fixtures coming up to further interest in their assets.

Norwich come to the London Stadium in Gameweek 4 having conceded eight goals in their first three matches of the season.

After that, West Ham travel to newly-promoted Aston Villa, who have just one clean sheet in 2019/20 thus far, which came against a goal-shy Everton side last Friday.

Manchester United and Crystal Palace are the next two sides to travel to East London (in Gameweeks 6 and 8 respectively), before Manuel Pellegrini’s men travel to Bournemouth and Everton.

However, Fantasy managers will still have to ensure they choose the right West Ham player to capitalise on the form and fixtures.

We have gone over the numbers from their first three matches of 2019/20 to work out who that might be.

As this article uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those who have signed up for the new campaign can access it in full.

Considering it on Aguero this week, but my TC history reads:

      18/19 DGW Sterling 8 points
      17/18 DGW Kane 1 points
      16/17 DGW Aguero 9 points
      15/16 DGW Aguero 25 points

This will be a different game for Burnley. Most likely they will park the bus.
Doesn't make sense owning him and not playing him against a middle of the table team.

loving the reactionary moves & hits happening all over the place ... horses for courses and all that

however, a good FPL asset doesn’t become a bad FPL asset because of a single game week blank or a couple of average performances

hold your nerve, hold your transfer, hold your Wild Card ... FPL is a marathon not a sprint - today’s FPL news will not be tomorrow’s fish ‘n chip paper

It’s only budget players that escalate in value as ownership is low at start though. No team is anymore than a -4 from getting Pukki in. If you went without one of sterling/Salah then more fool you

As the OP said horses for courses I guess... I always prefer to WC in GW3 or 4 and hop on the bandwagons and maximise value and fixture shifts.

      1. Hotdogs for Tea
        • 8 Years

Its been 3 games and all of those guys you mention have started all 3 and could explode this game week, but at worst that looks like 3 free transfers to me to sort it out, not a WC or hits

I certainly wouldn’t be taking hits or playing my EV to remove Siggy or King with the upcoming fixtures.

My point is that the reasons we select players in GW1 has not really changed, especially if they are nailed and playing 90 minutes - a haul for them could just be around the corner.

For me, I have Coleman, Rashford, AWB & Zaha that served up the grand total of one point last week, next week I could get 30 points out of them and one point out of their replacements for a -12 .... patience is key imho 🙂

Good morning lads, I've hit the Wildcard button after an average start. Currently on Van Dijk but would prefer TAA. What scores more for the next 6 weeks:
    a) VVD and Digne
    b) TAA & Mina

Another way to do it is to downgrade Mount to McGInn or Ceballos so:
    1) VVD & Mount
    2) TAA & McGinn/Caballos

    And which is preferable?

    1. StinkinRich
      • 13 Years
      4 years, 8 months ago

I have taa myself but VVD/Digne are rotation proof. Klopp could still chuck in Gomez at RB for a game

Given Wood’s expected goals / underlying stats, would it be fantasy football wisdom or fantasy football stupidity to get him over Barnes, who simply looks in great form?

Jesus is not out forever. Kun is a seriously good fantasy asset but at 12 mil plus 60 minute playing time does not add up for me. Unless I tfr him in now and be prepared to move him on in a few weeks. His price as a forward will force a double transfer at some time also.

Do i save FT or get rid of Kane? To be fair I've had him from the start, before my WC last week.

    Pope,
    Digne, Zinchenko, Dunk
    Mane, Sterling, Martial, KdB, Cantwell
    Kane, Pukki

    Button, Lundstram, Greenwood, Hanlon

    A - Kane, Greenwood -> Barnes, Haller
B - Kane, Martial -> Aguero, Mount (if Martial is proved to be out)
C - save and give 'arry another chance

Probably. Hoping Kun misses a pen, sprains his pinky and gets hauled off after 59 mins this gw.

Is it worth a -8 to make it happen tho? Haha wound captain to and happy with him long term(also happy with rest of team until I have to WC)

Just asked the same question below. Considering martial and king > kun and mount for a double hit.

Bench is strong enough. Bring Greenwood to first bench as might get a run out if martial doesn’t play?

Morning dzz, best solution to this mess? 1ft and 0m

    Heaton --- Pope
Taa Digne Zincheko Vvd -- Rico
Sterling Kdb Martial Perez -- Docker
    King Kane -- Wickham

    A: Vvd + Wickham >> 4m def + Pukki (-4)
    B: Perez + King >> Mcginn/Cebellos/Barkley + Pukki (-4)
C: Perez + King >> Cantwell + Pukki (-4) + 1.2m. Dont want norwich double up vs city in gw5 so then do dendocker > mcginn next gw
    D: Martial + Wickham >> Cantwell + Pukki (-4)

    - Leaning towards D if Martial is out.
    - Could have done A and got Lundy @4.1 if Pukki hadn't risen in price
    - If Martial is fit, confused between B and C

Is there really a need to take a -4? Your team is fine.

Just shift Kane if you really want to get rid of him this week.

BBC reporting that Sanchez to Inter is on. Could mean Greenwood gets a run out at Southampton if Martial doesn’t make it.

      Or mata or pereira?

But agree I think Greenwood will be given a chance

    2. Maddamotha

Rash will then play as a number 9, but Greenwood can play RW

    3. Pukki Blinders

James may move out to the left, Rash at no.9, Periera at no.10 and either Mata or Greenwood on the right

Would you make these moves for -8? Already did kane > pukki with the ft.

    Martial king > kun mount.

Probably not, you dont have any subs? Martial will at most miss one game it seems.

Have dunk, dendo and greenwood so that's not an issue. Just feel kun might get some big hauls in the next few gws.

If you started the season with Kane or Auba up top then getting Kun is not an that bif of an issue.

If you had no Kane or Auba up top then getting Kun now becomes a problem.

      Fail

Want to ship Kane as feel Kun gonna haul in next few.

    Kane/Mo to Kun/Mane

Madness? Probably wildcard in international break anyway if need to rectify...

Think Aguero will only be guaranteed 90 mins this week. Taking mo out is madness - can you downgrade elsewhere?

Not really, my tune was about jumping on Pukki/Barnes and worrying about price rises.

I usually wildcard in first IB (which has generally been a bit earlier by a week of two) but putting out their a potential move for thoughts. Realise Mo just hauled but could easily be Sadios turn

..was just winding mate haha...its a tough one but I'd be tempted for sure after that Spurs / Kane performance, neither seemed anyway at it did they!

A lot of people going for the Sterling + Aguero double up, no love for a Salah + Mane combination?

City fixtures look better for attacking returns but it doesn't always work like that so Salah + Mane could be 'the differential'!

Yeah, just weighing up what to do with Kane at the minute and using that money. I fancy Liverpool to score big in GW5, but may bring Robertson in for that to add to TAA and Salah.

Which option is better in your opinion,

    A) Perez to Cantwell + Wickham to Haller for a -4
    B) Perez to Mount/7.1 + Jota to Haller for a -4
    C) Perez to Martial
    D) Jota to Haller

    Current team is;

    Pope--- 4.0
    Roberston Digne Zincheko Soyucu-- Lundstrum
Sterling Kdb Salah Perez -- Docker
    Jota Pukki-- Wickham

    1. jia you

You have triple City, Salah and Pukki in place...so its looking good imo, GL!
