How has Firmino compared to Salah and Mané so far this season?

Roberto Firmino (£9.5m) has made a strong start to the season with two goals and two assists in the first four Gameweeks.

That has made for a total of 27 points, two more than colleague Sadio Mané (£11.5m) and nine short of Mohamed Salah (£12.5m).

Such a score after four matches is made all the more impressive when we consider that Firmino is now by far the cheapest attacking option in Liverpool’s FPL ranks.

The Brazilian represents a £3.0m saving compared to Salah, and can also offer £2.0m in cash compared to Mané.

Despite his potential value, he currently sits in just 11.7% of teams while Mané is owned by 18.9% and Salah 42.9%.

With that in mind, we have assessed whether more Fantasy managers should turn to Firmino from Gameweek 5 onwards.

As this article uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those who have signed up for the 2019/20 season can access it in full.

How has Firmino compared against Salah and Mané so far?

Looking likely Trossard will be out for a few weeks. Is Ceballos the best option? Can spend £6.3m

He caught my eye in the League Cup game. Wish I punted on him now!

            James also a good option.

        Mount.

I think Ceballos will tick over with assists, but he hasn't had a shot in the box yet and with Emery, I'm not sure he'll be a week in, week out starter.

        Better fixtures? This is Burnley.

Taking strength of team into account surely Ota has the better fixtures. Id back Brighton Norwich and Leicester to score anyway against Burnley and Villa and Everton also have a decent shot too.

Don't thinkTark is a horrid call generally but the price difference with Ota doesn't make him value.

I like it. Would get Haller over Barnes though. Fund it with Henderson > 4.0m and Dunk > Hanley. Zinchenko > Otamendi as well for security.

No Salah is pretty bold but Firmino + Pepe especially over the next few could haul.

Only thing I would consider is having Stones or Otamendi instead of Zinchenko if you're looking for City cover at that price. Mendy is back in training which means he will probs be in the rotation soon.

I own David Silva, 20 points over the last two games for just 7.5 - there is a lot to like.

He's missed the Spurs game so far, but not that surprising as the same happened in April. Last season he was rested against Cardiff home and away, so unfortunately for owners its not as simple as saying he gets benched for the tricky ones. He's going to miss the odd game, he's 34 next year, but Pep loves him, he's the captain, and its his last season. Gundogan and Foden, his possible replacements, at least creatively, aren't a patch on him, which is why I think he'll still start the majority of games.

Have a look at him and KDB in the comparison tool, over the last two game weeks when they've played together. It's interesting.

Was hoping an owner would pop up. Yes looks like Dilva misses his fair share, would this make him worth it over nailed OOP Martial is my worry. Reckon KDB misses some with UCL coming up? Cheers

Really hard to say, but he isn't going to run De Bruyne into the ground, he's prob gonna miss the odd game here and there like Silva. There is also a big price difference, so depends what you'd do with the money.

It’s to afford Pepe basically. Comes down to differential Pepe + Dilva vs safe Martial + KDB. The rest of my team is pretty template minus Otamendi basically and think Pepe can compete with KDB

Correction that is Pepe + Dilva + Haller vs KDB + Martial + Barnes

This is my current team - do you think I should play WC:

      Pope
Wan Bissaka, V Dijk, Digne, Zinchenko
      Salah, Sterling, De Brunye, Mount
      Pukki, Abraham

      (Heaton, Rico, Cantwell, Greenwood)

      £0.7m in bank

No man. Absolutely not. Great team. I would just get Trent instead of VVD, and maybe downgrade AWB.

And maybe two Chelsea options are too much. So Abraham to Haller or Mount to James (Ceballos)

Champions League fixtures fall between GW5/6 and GW7/8.
KdB had long injury layoffs last season, where Pep has to carefully manage his playing time.
Might there a threat of rest/rotation for the Premier League games?
I think Pep really wants to win the CL soon with City.

the Pep rotation lottery exists for all players, more so for the top players against weaker PL opposition (check the games Sterling was rested for last season)

Not making the change until next Friday but should I do KWP to Digne or roll transfer?

Pope, VVD, Zinchenko, Lundstrum, AWB, KDB, Sterling, Salah, Sterling, Pukki, Haller.

      Bench - Canterll, Greenwood.

Plan would be to drop Lundstrum or AWB to the bench and start Digne?

Anything worth a hit chaps? Planning on Kane, Mane & Montoya -> Haller, Salah & Digne over next couple of weeks but keeping Kane for this week.

      Pope
      TAA, Zinchenko, Montoya, Lundstram
      Mane, Sterling, KDB, Mount
      Kane, Pukki

      (Woodman, Cantwell, Soyuncu, Wickham)

      Cheers

        kane vs CPL

        Montoya vs BUR

All at home. Kane and Mane can score big. Montoya big chance of a cleanie. Why the tfrs?
