Euro 2020 qualifying data now available to Members

The eagle-eyed among you (or those following us on Twitter) may have spotted that there has been an addition to the Members’ Area over the past few days.

We are pleased to report that we have secured access to the qualifying data for the 2020 European Championship from Opta, which is now available to view.

This will hopefully be of use to Fantasy managers in the long term when the Fantasy game for Euro 2020 is launched next May/June, allowing our Members to look at which players have been the most threatening or creative in qualifying.

Some of you may find the data useful right now, of course, as you keep tabs on your Fantasy assets during the international break.

Match data can be viewed on a game-by-game basis by clicking here, while player statistics and team stats are also in their usual format.

Be sure to select the ‘European Championship Qualifiers’ option from the drop-down menu, as shown below.

Data from Thursday, Friday and Saturday’s qualifiers – including England’s match against Bulgaria – is already up on the site, while Sunday’s games will be added soon after the final whistles blow across the continent.

It’s not just European Championship qualifying data that is available, though – we also have stats from selected international friendlies on hand in our Members’ Area.

You can see how the likes of Nicolas Otamendi (£5.4m), Richarlison (£7.9m) and Roberto Firmino (£9.5m) are faring by selecting ‘International Friendlies’ from that aforementioned drop-down menu and then accessing team, player and match data from the games played this week.

Well, not much else in that price bracket and he is their only strikera at the moment and on pens...guess he will deliver 8-10 goals which basically best what you can hope for from 6.0 forward.

Your problem is money in the bank. You are better off sticking with Wesley unless you downgrade Kane.

Not really enough meaningful changes between your current team and the proposed WC team for it to be worthwhile. Especially with 2FT, just make the highest-priority moves and keep the WC for when your team is in real trouble.

I don't hate it. Enough speculative picks to be interesting, and has a lot of upside.

If I had to nitpick, I'd say that Firmino is just a frustrating pick. He'll tick over, but it's difficult to ever captain him.

And probably not easy to bring in a premium striker without surgery.

Well Son and Pepe kind of cover Kane and Auba. Also sticking with sterling over Kun. So Upgrading Firmino is really not needed. If anything, I could just downgrade him and upgrade the defense if needed.

No it’s not.. if Spurs and Arsenal score big , I expect Pepe and Son to be among points. Both of them are super attacking and quality players.

I've been looking forward to seeing Pepe find his form. Worked hard in the NLD; should be deadly once he calibrates his boots a bit.

Aubameyang and Kane could score big without Pepe and Son getting much, and other midfielders you could have had instead that lots of people have may do well, so that logic doesn’t really work. Not to say these are bad picks at all, just get the players you think will score biggest.

Yes but I’m not getting them for one week. Ofcourse in a single game Kane could score way more than Son and vice versa but over a stretch of 8-10 weeks , I expect them to match each other.

Not convinced that Son covers Kane, or that Pepe covers Auba.

Son was excellent value last few years, but at 9.5, I'll pass. Too inconsistent, and tends to get subbed early. Many of his hauls happened when Kane was absent through injury, if I recall correctly.

Similar story with Pepe. He's showed that he's quality, but is still an unknown quantity FPL-wise. If Arsenal score big I'm not really sure if Pepe will be in the middle of it or not.

Anyway, like I was alluding to, both of them have a lot of upside, so it may well work out. I hope it does!

Dropped Robbo for lack of wanting two Pool defenders now I'm contemplating bringing in TAA to sit next to VVD.

On WC atm and finding it impossible to make decisions. Obviously want to pick the players who will score the most points in the long run but would that mean having a less balanced team compared to the template WC teams i've seen on here? Any help would be much appreciated guys. My dliemma is

      A) Lanzini, Mount of Ceballos
      B) Which to pick out of Abraham, Barnes, Pukki and Haller (If going 2 or 3 up front)
      C) Get Auba with Barnes up top (will have to pick 3 out 5 bench fodders every week while still having Salah/Mane and Sterling,KDB, TAA, Digne. Can always downgrade to x2 cheap strikers if that doesn't work out.

      Current WC team is:
      Pope Button
      TAA Digne Ota Lunds Mings
      Salah Sterling KDB Lanzini Hayden
      Pukki Abraham Greenwood.

        A - Lanzini
        B - I like Barnes & Pukki
C - Not sure what you're asking here but dont like the idea of playing 3 fodder every week.

decisions should be reasonably straightforward on a wc. if they arent probably not worth using it

Thanks Jia much appreciated. What i meant with the 3rd point is to have a team with the likes of TAA/Digne/Salah/Sterling/Auba/Mount OR Barnes & KDB and have to play 3 out of Lowton, Mings, Lunds, Cantwell, Greenwood each week. If Auba doesn't look like he'll do well then i can always downgrade to cheap strikers in 2 moves. Also gives me the flexibility to upgrade any other position if needed as oppose to trying to find the funds if i wanted to do something like Pukki to Vardy or Wilson. Makes a bit more sense? haha

Not that straightforward when i know that i won't have access to another WC for quite a while. I am 100% set on TAA,Digne, Salah, Sterling, Pope and KDB. Just unsure on whether to go for a maverick formation and fit in Auba while rotating between 5 cheap players/fodders OR go 2 or 3 up top (Barnes, Abraham, Pukki, Haller) and settle for a more balanced/template selection also knowing that itll be very hard to fit in Auba if he starts hauling unless i downgrade another one of my top hitters.

I have a similar set up with mane sterling Aguero kdb currently. If I downgrade Aguero to auba I can also have otamendi and taa and rotate 2 fodder out of 4 every week (dunk soyuncu Lund cantwell). I don’t think it’s that bad. 4.5 defs can easily match clean sheets when you consider rotation. Lund is oop and cantwel is pretty attacking. This set up has 9 exceptionally good starters every week including 4 heavy hitting attackers, 2 heavy hitting defs plus mount pukki Pope

Man you have no idea how much i want your team. Literally what my heart is telling me to do. Of course my brain is telling me otherwise. Only thing i would do is downgrade Dunk to Lowton/Mings and upgrade Ota to Digne. i think the rotation plan is not that bad at all. Are you sticking to your guns?

yes i think i will, i am currently 3 moves away (i dont have taa ota and i have aguero instead of auba). will give aguero this game then maybe do a -4 next week to bring those 3.

the only problem is that most money has been squeezed in to the big guns (ie theres no one like dunk or someone to downgrade). auba can be a cash cow - can always make him barnes and use the cash but even if you had the cash, i dont see what moves could really improve the team. i would probably just use it to do mane to salah and maybe get one more good def (digne is the only one that appeals). so its pretty much like having auba and losing out on digne for me. i think it works while city and arsenal fixtures are good and while pools are slightly tough so that we are a bit shielded from the salah captainers.

actually, cash can be squeezed out of mount. can make him iwobi or ceballos or mcginn in order to either reduce the rotation to 1 out of 3 or upgrade ota (although i dont feel like i need to upgrade ota as he is a gift at 5.4 reasonably nailed city coverage with ok attacking threat)

Thought you were on WC. Much respect if you actually started the season with the team above man. Its soo easy to just go along with the template teams on here when you should be playing your own game at all times. In that case id definitely do the moves you mentioned above. I don't think you can really go wrong with upgrading to Salah and Digne. Can also upgrade Mount or James to Son/Pepe if you want to change formation. And the reason you mentioned above along with having an unbalanced team are what's putting me off owning 4 big hitters. Could pay off just like it could easily back fire if the cheap strikers keep producing. So yeah currently stuck between:

                      Pope Button
                      Digne TAA Lowton Mings Lunds
                      Mane Sterling KDB Hayden Dendon
                      Barnes Auba Green

                      And

                      Pope Button
                      TAA Digne Zinch Lunds Lowton
                      Salah Sterling KDB Lanzini Cantwell
                      Barnes Abrahams Wick

                      Thoughts?

i prefer the first one but i think its a bit light in midfield with hayden and dendon, considering you have greenwood in there too. you basically have 5 starts in attack and 3 non starters. id try to make hayden or dendon in to an iwobi or something. i suppose the only place to get money from is digne. alternatively you could consider firmino (with a view to move to vardy in 3-4 weeks) instead of auba. it should give you 2m to put in to hayden, or maybe greenwood to pukki.

Any strong opinions on cut price mids?

Fairly decent case for McGinniesta for sure, but how about:

      - Westwood (5.4) 10 returns in 23 game stretch from GW7-GW33 last season & lovely fixtures
      - McArthur (5.4) also got 10 returns last year & some nice fixtures in the lookahead
      - Robinson (5.3) really attacking role, already off the mark, somehow has dropped twice despite double returning last time out v Chelsea

Others?? (Jorginho, Will Hughes, Solly March etc?)

correct. just pointing out that people are selling the 2nd highest scorer in the game, who @ 5.5m less than Salah have the same pts as him...the same player also scored x2 in the IB, which makes it even more baffling.

I'm tempted to be one of these people. I want Haller and Barnes in the medium term and I don't fancy Pukki in his next 3 and I don't like his underlying numbers all that much and I also think Norwich will have to change how they play to have a chance of staying in the league.

Sometimes you need to sell at the tight time too.

The main stat is that he's 250% ahead of his xG. I do like that he has other facets to his game (dribbling and assist potential) but his goals have to regress and I think Nowich will have to change so the idea that he's a season keeper after 4 games seems a bit premature.
