Wan-Bissaka comes through injury to start against Leicester

Manchester United’s injury situation appears not quite as bad as first feared as Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£5.5m) starts at right-back against Leicester.

The player had been flagged with a back injury in the week but has been declared fit for the first XI.

However, Paul Pogba (£8.5m), Anthony Martial (£7.7m) and Luke Shaw (£5.4m) are indeed missing for the Red Devils.

Marcus Rashford (£8.5m) starts the match in a central role supported by Daniel James (£6.2m), Juan Mata (£6.4m) and Andreas Pereira (£5.0m), which means substitute Mason Greenwood (£4.5m) still awaits his first league start of the campaign.

There are very few surprises for opponents Leicester other than Demarai Gray (£5.3m) coming in for his first Premier League start of the season, featuring alongside Jamie Vardy (£8.9m) and James Maddison (£7.1m) in a front-three.

Mason Mount (£6.4m) and Tammy Abraham (£7.2m) hold their places in the Chelsea team despite concerns about Champions League rotation setting in.

The changes come elsewhere in the side as it looks like Frank Lampard has opted for a 3-5-2 formation to match Wolves.

Antonio Rüdiger (£6.0m) makes a much-anticipated return in central defence, joined in the middle by Andreas Christensen (£5.0m) and Fikayo Tomori (£4.5m).

With Emerson (£5.5m) ruled out, Marcos Alonso (£6.2m) returns at left wing-back with Cesar Azpilicueta (£5.9m) on the opposite flank.

Opponents Wolves have restored Diogo Jota (£6.3m) to the starting line-up while Adama Traoré (£5.0m) is at right-back and Jesus Vallejo (£4.9m) and Romain Saïss (£4.4m) come in at centre-back.

Callum Robinson (£5.3m) is fit enough only for the bench for Sheffield United but David McGoldrick (£5.5m) is able to come through and start alongside Oli McBurnie (£5.9m).

John Lundstram (£4.2m) keeps his place in midfield, even as John Fleck (£4.9m) returns from injury, Luke Freeman (£5.4m) the man to make way.

Meanwhile, Southampton’s defensive situation looks a little unclear ahead of kick-off.

They have named three centre-backs in their team, Jan Bednarek (£4.5m), Jannik Vestergaard (£5.1m) and Maya Yoshida (£4.4m) but there is no recognised left-back in the starting line-up.

It is thought either Japanese international Yoshida will play that role in a back-four, or central midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg (£4.9m) will fulfil it in a five-man defence.

In attack, Che Adams (£5.8m) is flanked by Sofiane Boufal (£5.5m) and Moussa Djenepo (£5.4m), who starts despite concerns over a muscle problem.

Finally, it looks as if there’s a different shape for Brighton as they name a 4-3-3 formation. It is possible that Dan Burn (£4.5m) and Adam Webster (£4.4m) are at full-back while Pascal Groß (£6.5m) starts in central midfield and Solly March (£4.9m) pushes forward into more familiar territory.

Brighton XI: Ryan; Webster, Duffy, Dunk, Burn; Groß, Stephens, Pröpper; Maupay, Murray, March.

Burnley XI: Pope; Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Pieters; Lennon, Westwood, Cork, McNeil; Barnes, Wood.

Manchester United XI: De Gea; Young, Maguire, Lindelöf, Wan-Bissaka; Matic, McTominay; James, A Pereira, Mata; Rashford.

Leicester XI: Schmeichel; Chilwell, Söyüncü, Evans, R Pereira; Choudhury, Tielemans, Ndidi; D Gray, Vardy, Maddison.

Sheffield Utd XI: D Henderson; O’Connell, Egan, Basham; Stevens, Fleck, Norwood, Lundstram, Baldock; McBurnie, McGoldrick.

Southampton XI: Gunn; Yoshida, Bednarek, Vestergaard, Cédric; Ward-Prowse, Romeu, Højbjerg; Djenepo, Adams, Boufal.

Tottenham Hotspur XI: Lloris; Aurier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Sissoko, Winks; Lamela, Eriksen, Son; Kane.

Crystal Palace XI: Guaita; Ward, Cahill, Sakho, van Aanholt; Townsend, Milivojevic, Kouyaté, Schlupp; Zaha, Ayew.

Wolves XI: Patrício; Vallejo, Coady, Dendoncker; Jonny, Moutinho, Neves, Saïss, Traoré; Jiménez, D Jota.

Chelsea XI: Arrizabalaga; Christensen, Rüdiger, Tomori; Azpilicueta, Mount, Jorginho, Kovacic, Alonso; Willian, Abraham.

Rashford more interesting that Son IMO. Cheaper and on pens.

Plus Man Utd score goals - only Liverpool and Man City have scored more goals than Man Utd and only Liverpool and Man City have a higher xG than Man Utd.

I can get KDB for £9.5m. Plus Mane / Salah, plus Sterling / Aguero. I don't have loads of slots for £9m+ players. Especially for a player in a team that usually has difficulty scoring goals against teams who park the bus.

Sad to see our best player vs Brighton, Djenepo, being forcd to play LWB. Struggling to defend. Wonder why wont Ralph play Vokins.

Have a grand total of 2 players from the 3pm kick-offs and they're both defenders, every goal alert is going to be accompanied by a little prayer that it wasn't a player with much FPL ownership.

Again, you act like I'm the only person who ever has anything negative to say. Saying "Oh bugger" when someone I was considering but don't own scores is no crime, and hardly (I'm sure) as irritating as "captain fail" or "GW over" posts after 45 mins of the first game, for example.

Or trolls just fishing for replies, like you often do.

Bro it’s just every single time a player whom you don’t own scores points you complain. Just accept you can’t own them all. This game is based on percentages and probabilities. It’s a harsh reality. Accept it and you will be more accepted here
