The FPL line-up lessons we learned from Gameweek 5

We take our regular look back at the Premier League line-ups from the weekend just gone, analysing the systems and personnel used by the 20 top-flight clubs and seeing what lessons could be learned ahead of Gameweek 6.

The article has taken a slightly different format this week as we harness the use of the average position maps in our Members’ Area.

The figures in brackets given after each player name correspond to the numbered shirts in the position maps.

      Tammy over Wilson imho, otherwise strong. Cheap defense + TAA is the way to go for some weeks now.

        Could do that but prefer Wilson's fixtures till gw 10. He plays bad defenses. Switch to Tammy/Jimenez/Haller after that and upgrade Pieters.

    Pep was bullish when asked that Mahrez came into the team and did well, saying you can't forget the likes of Raheem have won all in the last 2 years. Sterling seems like a starter on Saturday then.

      No one knows for sure but taking into account England games Sterling has played all but 17 minutes of the possible minutes. No other city mid or attacker is close. He can't play him again this week.....

      Think Salah is an underrated pick for captain. If I told you Salah is playing a side who have conceded several goals a game every game - then you'd go for it surely

      I'd say play it safe as Chelsea have looked awful defensively.

      Mings is nailed, have proven to be able to obtain clean sheets and has 3 nice fixtures post Emirates.

    Thinking to rid of Salah for this GW for De Bruyne or cheaper MID and afford Auba instead King or Haller.

    What you think ? I know he can punish me, but anyway i have plan to go without Salah on the WC (with Mane probably)
