Assuming everyone escapes unscathed from the weekend's matches (big assumption I know), which move do you prefer for an extra bench/rotating player?
    A) Greenwood > Ayew
    B) Rico > Lowton/Mings/Guilbert/?

    (exact money)

I can understand some worried about being priced out and pulling the trigger. But is Abraham that plays twice a week really better than Haller playing once a week? Surely Chelsea can't just phone it in and start Giroud in CL now.

Scared not owning him actually. I'm beginning to soften on my Chelsk hating, and the one man team (Haz) parroting, Lamps out by Xmas froth etc.

The fact that's smacking me in the face is that Lamps is doing a Sterling job and the players look happy. And they look great attacking.

      Abraham.

    2 FT's
Does this sound good for a -4?
Or would you do something else?

    Kane/Robertson/KWP > Aguero/Digne/Lundstram

    Pope
    VVD - Robertson - Zinchenko - KWP
    McGinn - Salah - Sterling - James
    Kane - Pukki

    Button - Rico - Hayden - Greenwood

You won't want to play Lund much over the short term as he has some bad fixtures, including Liverpool next week. Digne has City next week as well so not sure these moves will be worth it.

My word, all this Sterling talk of him starting, not starting etc. I own him yes, and not just saying this because of bias or anything, but why on earth wouldn't he not start?

Yes, he's played a lot of mins, but he then is afforded 7 days off with rest, not like Pep is saving him for cup game, and he also desperately needs a win. Everything just points to him starting, i can't wrap my head around why he wouldn't.

Well yeah, it makes sense, plus i dount Pep changes whole formation just to afford Sterling a damn 10 day rest and needing a win, that'd just be ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure he will start, as you say he can rest for the C Cup, but I thought he looked jaded yesterday so I wasn't confident in captaining him so sold for Aguero and captaining him

Ooo bold move, but Aguero certainly primed for captaincy.
He did look a bit jaided, and i still may even go Salah yet for captain, got it wrong every gameweek so why stop now haha.

Just to wade in, from what I've read he used the term 'monkey' towards a black player, and made a reference to climbing trees. It wasn't apparently meant to be racist, but obviously it was felt to be so by the player.

I call my kids monkeys sometimes when they're messing about, and I wouldn't be surprised if I used it when I was coaching U7s football, towards players of any colour.

The FA are coming down on this sort of behaviour strongly, and understandably so, so while it may seem like a sledgehammer to crack a nut, these issues have to be dealt with in a uniform way so that all forms of racism, be they intentional or not, are removed from the sport.

Agreed, but I don't think Beardsley can hide behind that. It was definitely a racial thing.

There are 3 offences and this particular one can definitely not be argued... Copy and paste below@

Mr Beardsley made the comment “You should be used to that” to one or more black players of African origin at the U23 team-building event at Go Ape in October 2017. This was said to be an offensive and unacceptable comment and/or a negative racial stereotype that Black Africans would be used to and/or good at climbing trees and/or may amount to racial harassment

I’m freezing this comment for replies.

While you can have the opinion that there are ‘snowflakes’ around (people who are offended for no reason) calling people who recognize racism snowflakes is defending that racism.

I’ll take the sympathetic view that you either didn’t know the content of the comments or your snowflake opinion was separate, but even being from a different era doesn’t excuse racism.

Wolves not been looking great so far but not the easiest set of fixtures and pretty close to a few clean sheets on top of their first one.

Good point. I think even if KWP plays he's not likely to get more than a 1-2 pointer at best. I'd swap out Dendoncker for another -playing- 4.5 mid bench fodder. Donkey is about to drop in price and Wolves are in bits at the moment anyway. It's also a prime GW to ditch the Liverpool double-up in defence, Robbo falling fast.

    Robertson/Kane > Pieters/Aguero

    No hits. Sound good?

Only slight concern is I also have Pope in goal, so it's double Burnley defence.

Possibly look at other defender options to avoid the double up, but otherwise looks good!

No Salah, Mane, Bobby, Vardy, Auba, Kane, Abraham, Wilson, Haller, Son or KDB...
    Should I be concerned?

    Salah Sterling James{❗} Mount{❗} | Dendonkey

What would you do? Sell Greenwood or maybe even a LIV def? One thing is for sure, is to get Abraham or another MCI attacker.

Those of you replacing Zinchenko with a 5m or below, potentially rotating with Soy/Lundstram, who are you going for?

    My head is spinning.

Is TAA essential due to his chance creation?

Would be essential if getting clean sheets also.

Yes. Look at him as a Pool winger.

I’m a keeper. See him as a very involved winger, he’s not a real defender.

Would it be a good idea to lose one of Barnes/Haller to get Abraham next week?

Only if you can be guaranteed the goals to continue.

    Pope
    TAA, Lundstram, Digne
    Salah, Sterling(c), KDB, Son, Cantwell
    Pukki Barnes

    Button, Hanley, Soy, Greenwood

I plan to shoehorn Tammy in for Barnes next week.
