FPL Question Time – Consult our panel ahead of Gameweek 7

As per usual, there are a tonne of questions ahead of the Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 7 deadline.

Manchester City assets continue to be under threat from rotation, Liverpool still can’t keep clean sheets and Norwich continue to blank away from home.

To answer some of these dilemmas, we have put together another panel of Fantasy managers to help you out…

Who’s on the panel this week?

FPL General – Contributor to the Scout site who has three finishes inside the top 400 in the last five seasons and who has a huge following on Twitter. General – aka Mark – also appears regularly on the official FPL Show.

FPL Hints – One of the most-followed names in the FPL community, a seasoned veteran as well as a Scout writer and an Official FPL panellist. Finished 110th in the world in 2011/12.

FPL Heisenberg – Influencer within the FPL community with a top 10k finish in 2016/17, followed by top 1k in 2017/18.

Joe – Our very own Scoutcast and video host, long-time servant of the site, keeper of the Goals Imminent table and seven top 10k FPL finishes.

I'd prob look at bringing Abraham in for Barnes, and play Digne over Dendoncker - Everton will no doubt concede but City could be vulnerable from set pieces.

There’s actually not much in it. Chelsea have conceded less total shots and it’s true their xGc isn’t quite as good.. however, Leicester have a habit of conceding 1 (remember last season).. I see Chelsea with 3-4 cleans in their next 6 with those fixtures. I think Leicester will keep 1-2

          It def looks neater!

Do you mean combining also, i.e:

          A)braham
          B)arnes
          C)allum Wilson

          ?

Not necessarily combining them but certainly

            A) Abraham
            B) Barnes etc

Sometimes people will just answer with the first letter of their preferred choice. E.g. captain Auba or Barnes and people just respond 'A'

That hurts my head and my OCD. Like when they write the word 'RED' in green and ask you what colour the word is written in.

I always thought that OCD looks a little unbalanced.

              COD just looks better arranged....

Not an easy decision which is why many are getting both.

I think Mount as he gets the extra points as a mid and likely to be involved in goals

    OR 6K

    For a -4

Zinc & Ozil (last weeks punt) > Otta & Maddison

      Yes.
BTW Ozil punt at that rank hurts.

Think I could shorten it to KDB Salah Abraham
Its your turn to cut now 😀

I don’t trust getting lucky with KDB two weeks running (I chose him as C last week) so I am likely to just pick Salah tbh but it feels too template. Need to nail a differential cap

These stats make an interesting (if ultimately unnecessary) read!

"People born since the following last happened in the Premier League:

Liverpool dropped points - 73 million
Man Utd won an away game - 75 million
    Chelsea awarded a penalty - 84 million
Spurs won an away game - 89 million
Man City failed to score - 104 million"

Would you do Haller to C.Wilson or Tammy for a hit? Thinking the hit could pay off over the next four weeks.

Haller has Bournemouth next. Not for me.

I considered it but in the end am holding Haller and got in Tammy alongside him, switching to a 3-4-3

Just thought I would mention for those who don’t use it, but the reddit fpl subreddit is really good for info and stats and things like that. For sure one of, if not the best place to go for detailed info and posts.
