Bought KDB at 9.8m and have 1FT.

KDB to Son (bha) or just play Lundstrum (wat)?

Agreed and like to think he’d play as well. I’m still on the fence over doing KDB > Mahrez

Flip a coin, really. Tomori with more attacking potential, Soy with more CS potential.

I was in the same spot on Monday and brought in Tomori (for Montoya).

    Ryan
    Digne - Robbo - VVD - Ota
    Salah (c) - KDB - McGinn
    Pukki - Haller - Abraham

    Ederson - Cantwell - Lundstram - Ceballos

    1 FT, 2.2 ITB

Thinking of Ceballos to Maddison for Leicester’s fixtures from next week onwards. Any thoughts?

What makes you want to start Ryan over Ederson ?

Hold FT and have 2FT available for GW9 adjustments

Sorry, that was a typo. I currently have Ederson & Ryan as well as 2 free transfers, Ederson -> Button would free up the 2.2 ITB and then I’d have a further transfer to make.

Another alternative would be Ederson out this week, and then next week do Digne & Haller -> Soy & Auba, reckon that’s a decent shout?

Which is the best move here?

    Pope Stek
    TAA Ota Lowton Soy Rico
    Mane KDB Son Cantwell Hayden
    Kun Tammy Pukki

    2 Ft 0.1 itb

    A. Mane + KDB > Sterling + Yarmolenko?
    B. KDB > Yarmolenko
    C. KDB > Mahrez
    D. Hayden > Guendouzi

I wouldn’t do any of them. Getting rid of KDB is madness imo unless he gets a serious injury, Guendouzi may be slightly better but really not much in it, I wouldn’t use a transfer to make it.

Late 80s was a particularly stellar period for music, what with all these ferocious guitar bands and also the emergence of Acid House. I count myself fortunate to have been in the right place at the right time.

Maybe I am old and boring and set in my ways but nothing was as raw as that. US took about 10 years to do their punk but when they did it was amazing - there I say better.

    Ederson
    Tomori- TAA- Robo-Soyuncu- Lund
    KDB-Salah—Sterling
    Tammy-pukki

    Greenwood-dendo- Douglas Luiz

Anything worth a hit? because KDB will probably not play and my bench is garbage.

I had KDB from the start, don’t wanna lose him.. hopefully greenwood plays with the lingard injury. Also what you said means a -8 hit

It wont really matter of he is out for more than 2-3 GWs, would be waste of money

Greenwood hardly gets more than 1pt. Den to Guendouzi is another option

What's the bigger priority this week?
    Dunk to Tomori
    Tielemans to Yarmolenko
other rotation position is King who is away to Ars
could do both moves -4 and bench King but i'm assuming that would be ill-advised

    1. Holmes
      • 10 Years
      4 years, 6 months ago

None of those moves are necessary in my opinion.

All 3 of them have good fixtures in upcoming weeks. Better to save FT.

i feel like i made an error bringing in Tielemans and with Maddison back soon i'd rather him (after liv game)
Dunk has 1 good fixture next week but coming up it's pretty horrible on paper
One of them to come in or be replaced to fill in for Kdb

        1. Holmes
          • 10 Years
          4 years, 6 months ago

King vs Arsenal is not that bad, should be fine.

You can change Tielmens to Maddison next week. Saving FT will give you more options if Kevin is out for long

I did Aguero to Kane which is even more risky but have a good gut feeling that Spurs will do well in their next two...time will tell...Auba is obviously very tempting though due to his consistency!

      Hint:
Look who started v wolves at Etihad last time and scored 2

Now look at every home match in Champions League (3) and Premier League (10) and see who started al bar one (injury v Cardiff)

Now look at last few away games and see who starts when both are fit.

      Now decide

Otm or Tomori for Zinc? Have 2ft and will only be making one this week and saving the other

if I get Tomori, next gw I can use the money to go Salah and Wickham out for Auba and Maddison or Tammy/vardy and a third city mid/Maddison

If I go with Otm, next gw could be Salah and Wickham for Mcginn and Auba or Maddison and any 10.2 attacker

    Thought?

You should have triple MCity, they are dominating the league. If you drop a MCity defender, consider extra MCity midfield (DSilva?)

As per google.. groin injury is usually between 2 weeks - 5 weeks
At the very least, kdb should rest for this GW and come back after international break ...

    KDB -> Sterling
    Son -> Maddison
for minus 4 or hold on to KDB and save the transfer ?

      Personally I would save

Sterling to KDB to save the 2.0 after the IB looks a very tempting future transfer!

But most have got either sterling or aguero with KDB

I had Sterling + Aguero (a good few more of us in that boat tbf) but have changed things up by selling Kun this week.

KDB + 2x other MCity of your choice. Sterling and Aguero are the most popular choices but since even they are rouletted, you could choose to go cheaper with differentials, e.g. DSilva/Mahrez + Ota and spend the remainder elsewhere.

Currently own Sterling + Mahrez + Otamendi but by selling Sterling to KDB after the IB I could use the money to upgrade Barnes.

Small up arrow on stats but -32.
Go on I dare anyone sell him before 3 home in 5 including wat and aways of BOU and BRI - he might actually get returns it them too. Another part of the reasoning behind do I want to lose Pukki and/or Abraham for Vardy and or Auba. No I don't.

nah, lack of patience after his recent blanks and managers not copping on to the home form factor at play I reckon!

Bought him in at 6.5 so if he drops to 7.1 I'm still very happy to keep. The people who joined the Pukki Party late are afraid of losing money by keeping which accelerates the sales a lot.

same bought him after GW1 and captained him (my moment of glory this season) so he's hard to sell atm for me!

Who as first sub to presumably come on for KDB?

    a) Greenwood (NEW a)
    b) Lundstram (WAT a)
    c) Soyuncu (LIV a)

Lundstram- Pieters - Jelly in that order ?

So with KDB potentially out I will need to do a transfer...

Thinking about mcginn, salah, vardy, wilson, auba...

    Pope
    TAA Pieters Lund
    KDB Sterling Mount Cantwell
    Kun Tammy Pukki

    Ceballos!, Kelly, Soy, 1FT, 2.9M

          I rather A.
We can do without KDB for one week.
McGinn fixtures turn in a few weeks but still value maybe this years Fraser. Pity I dumped him a few weeks ago

What do we think of this wildcard team sans Liverpool:

    Pope, Button
    Boly, Lowton, Soy, Tomori, Cresswell
    Maddison, Sterling, KDB, Mount, Cantwell
    Auba, Vardy, Tammy

Wouldn't pull the trigger until IB. Set up until roughly GW 17.

Is Hayden to Saka a wise thing to do with 1 FT? Otherwise have to play Greenwood or Rico (if KDB is injured).

Nope, Pep would prefer to keep him away from a pack of Wolves

San Marino and Kazakhstan don’t suit Kevin and Pep should with draw him from all first team games until they can go visit the lovely Crystal Palace and the king can get his thrown back
