FPL Question Time – Consult our panel ahead of Gameweek 9

Fantasy Premier League managers have had longer than usual to prepare for the next Gameweek.

We are just emerging from the latest international break of the campaign but that does not mean our dilemmas are any simpler.

Managers are considering selling their Liverpool assets, Manchester City are perhaps as hard to predict as ever before and we are in need of some answers.

We have put together another panel of managers to help provide some for you this week…

Who’s on the panel this week?

Hindu Monkey – Longtime Scout poster with a brutal blog to boot, HM has delivered an excellent insight throughout his FPL career. His best finish in a fantastic 11-year history was an excellent 2932nd and rose to recent Twitter-fame for his founding of the Barnes Train™ movement.

Gregor – Part of the moderator team, Gregor has an enviable FPL history with three top 1k finishes and a further three top 10k finishes, with a best of 29th in the world in 2016/17.

G-Whizz – Also part of the moderator team, currently in his fifth FPL season, G-Whizz managed a personal best finish of 4,404 in 2018/19.

Neale Rigg – Esteemed deputy editor of Fantasy Football Scout and recent survivor of Hackgate. Despite that setback, Neale remains second in the FFS Mods and Cons league, sat at 47k worldwide, and potentially on course to record a fourth career top 10k finish.

      I like it a lot and have most - although personally i think Sterling is eating up a lot of budget without the returns. I downgraded him, and perhaps you could upgrade connolly to vardy?

    Pukki > Jimenez for free?

    I'm leaning towards holding now actually. Having 2 FTs next week will be super helpful. Also not convinced stats wise that Jimi is a better pick than Pukki.

      I'm doing it. Got 2FT's at the moment and I think Jimenez is a more proven fpl asset and Wolverhampton also.

      I am going for a relitively strong bench. Also gives me rotation between players for their fixtures and that way I do not have to worry about taking hits to get my triple Pool back.
