Fantasy Premier League managers have been, understandably, completely put off Manchester United assets of late.

The Red Devils’ recent poor form was perfectly encapsulated in a Gameweek 8 defeat to Newcastle before the international break and they host Liverpool next.

However, those with half an eye on the Season Ticker will notice that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men are about to embark on a favourable run of fixtures.

In the interest of getting ahead of the game, we’ve had a look to see if there are any hidden gems within Manchester United’s out-of-form squad.

          Even for free that transfer could backfire.

    Which do you reckon is the better enabler for Vardy (replacing Haller)? Both options leave me with £0.5m ITB:

    A) Otamendi -> Rico (based on Ota being crap and might not be an auto pick with Stones coming back)

    B) McGinn -> Sako (bit of a punt, Arsenal easy fixtures coming up and he’s looked good so far)

      First option because Rico is nailed and Saka isn't. Bukayo looked dangerous and creative whenever he was on the pitch but it's impossible to know how long will he remain a starter. Martinelli is performing as well and with Lacazette' inevitable return, it's really hard to predict which system is Emery gonna deploy.

    Start Lundstram (ARS) or Mings (BHA)?

    I know it's probably not worth having Mings if you won't start him in this case, but worried about Lundstram's attacking threat/Arsenal struggling to breakdown Sheffield.

      I don’t get that logic. Mings is cheap and benchable depending on who you want to start.
      I’d agree with defenders over 5.0 or midfielders over 5.5m.

      I think your dilemma is a toss up. Hard decision this week.

        Thanks. I just meant I wouldn't have put Mings in my squad a number of weeks ago if I thought there was ever a chance I wouldn't play him against Brighton at home.           I get what your saying. Even if you don’t play Mings though he’s cheap enough to keep as insurance if you get an injury like KDB.
