Chelsea more likely for a clean sheet but Lundstram edges the attacking threat.

I think Pukki is going to come good again and will be Norwich's main route for goals.

I've kept him this long, I don't mind holding another week or two to see if he starts scoring again.

I also don't think Maupay is an upgrade over Pukki. I think it won't be long before you'll be in a similar position with him as you currently are with Pukki.

      1. Eze Really?
        • 9 Years

Maupay numbers flatter his actual points but could come good. Makes sense for a downgrade. Nobody can tell the future and Pukki has proved himself. Success in this game outside of lucky captain picks is knowing when to get on or off players.

Genuine question; why isn’t there more love for Vardy?

On form (13 goals in the last 19 or stg), on pens, no Europe, nailed, Southampton away and they shipped 4 the last home game. £9.1m so not cheap but surprised he’s still pretty low ownership. Something I’m missing?

Up till now fixtures weren't great.

Definitely interested in him, but may have to wait a few more weeks to get him in, or wait till I WC.

I put Auba in the same category outside of ownership and price. His involvement seems little but his points are good. Vardy is good for counter attack. Not sure how things will work out against defensive teams.

    I have 1FT and 4.1ITB

What do you think are 2 crucial upgrades? I'll take a hit if need be.

I could bring in Abraham and TAA maybe?

    Ryan Button
    Tomori Lundstarm Soyuncu

    1. jtreble

      Better value in LIV defence.

    2. Eze Really?
      • 9 Years
      4 years, 5 months ago

Liverpool have value everywhere. The difference is Citeh has none in defense. So temptation to go Citeh up front and Pool in defense. Not sure if that is the right call. I have not seen a turnaround in clean sheets yet.

      1. HVT

Pool lacking CS but I’m hopeful that changes or we get more attacking returns from Rob/TAA/Vvd at least.

        1. Eze Really?
          • 9 Years

A common thought. My ML rival has 3 Pool at the back. 1 problem, it cost 21 mil for all 3 and not sure if value is there if there are no clean sheets. I watched Pool a lot this year and there are mistakes in them.

Yes this is the approach I had adopted over the last few weeks until I transferred out Sterling. With Pool attack it's a 50/50 between who will get the returns out of Salah/ Mane it seems. The CS situation is what puts me off the double up in defence at the moment especially with so many cheaper options around
