Richarlison leads Everton line again as King returns for Bournemouth

Richarlison (£7.9m) starts upfront for Everton for the second week running as his side travels to face Brighton.

The Brazilian was one of the Toffees key performers in the much-needed Gameweek 9 win over West Ham and Marco Silva has kept faith in him.

Supporting Richarlison in his free-ranging centre-forward role is an attacking midfield trio of Theo Walcott (£6.2m), Alex Iwobi (£5.8m) and Bernard (£6.5m).

Djibril Sidibé (£5.3m) keeps his place in the XI despite Seamus Coleman (£5.4m) returning from suspension, who is handed a place on the bench.

Brighton retain faith in the 4-4-2 system used in their defeat to Aston Villa, Steven Alzate (£4.5m) coming in for the suspended Aaron Mooy (£4.8m) and Leandro Trossard (£5.8m) still on the bench.

Josh King (£6.3m) returns to the Bournemouth side after featuring only as a substitute against Norwich.

Crucially, a first start for Arnaut Danjuma (£5.8m) on the left of the midfield means that the Norwegian is back up-front alongside Callum Wilson (£8.0m).

Harry Wilson (£6.1m) drops to the bench as Ryan Fraser (£7.1m) starts on the right of midfield.

Eddie Howe’s men travel to face a Watford side that seems to be settling into a 3-5-2 system.

Adam Masina (£4.3m) comes in for the suspended Jose Holebas (£4.7m) at left-back while Gerard Deulofeu (£6.1m) starts in the place of the injured Danny Welbeck (£5.9m) up-front.

Finally, Fabian Balbuena (£4.3m) comes into the West Ham defence for his first start since Gameweek 1, Angelo Ogbonna (£4.5m) dropping to the bench.

Pablo Fornals (£6.1m) is also demoted there, so that Andriy Yarmolenko (£6.0m), Robert Snodgrass (£5.2m) and Felipe Anderson (£6.9m) can support Sebastien Haller (£7.4m) in attack.

As expected, John Lundstram (£4.6m) holds his place in the Sheffield United midfield as Callum Robinson (£5.3m) and David McGoldrick (£5.4m) start up-front.

Brighton XI: Ryan; Burn, Webster, Dunk, Montoya; Alzate, Pröpper, D Stephens, Groß; Maupay, Connolly.

Everton XI: Pickford; Digne, Holgate, Keane, Sidibé; A Gomes, T Davies; Bernard, Iwobi, Walcott; Richarlison.

Watford XI: Foster; Kabasele, Dawson, Cathcart; Masina, Chalobah, Cleverley, Doucouré, Janmaat; Pereyra, Deulofeu.

Bournemouth XI: Ramsdale; Rico, Aké, S Cook, Smith; Danjuma, Billing, Lerma, Fraser; J King, C Wilson.

West Ham XI: Roberto; Cresswell, Diop, Balbuena, Zabaleta; Noble, Rice; Anderson, Yarmolenko, Snodgrass; Haller.

Sheff Utd XI: D Henderson; O’Connell, Egan, Basham; Stevens, Fleck, Norwood, Lundstram, Baldock; Robinson, McGoldrick.

Crikey. Oh well. Not particularly fussed about losing 4 points but the decision and the way it was arrived at is a little odd.

KDB cappers lets go abuse fpl towers. The entire system is a mess and that fact that it has taken over an hour to review is pathetic.

Indeed. I'm a KDB(c) but it's just a shoulder shrug and onto the next game. A shame, but that's that.

People seem to forget that VAR is a person, a video assistant referee. He has made an error-like a normal ref- during the game thats been subsequently corrected post game. Cant be helped but i guess the VAR only has a reasonable amount of time to make a decision under pressure. They have corrected it and its just bad luck on Villa what the consequences mat have been

Wasn't clear and obvious tho so I think the KDB goal should stand, we don't need the correct decisions we just need close enough... 😛

Only needs to be clean and obvious for VAR. This isn't VAR, this is the official award of the goal.

Bit like say if a player gets a red card retrospectively over a yellow, that is only any use to the opponents where the player misses the next game

As I have said before. I don't understand why VAR is not allowing the onfield ref to make decisions. The onfield ref should be looking at a screen that is pitchside. All that is happening with VAR in the PL is the onfield ref is delegating decisions.
