Richarlison leads Everton line again as King returns for Bournemouth

Richarlison (£7.9m) starts upfront for Everton for the second week running as his side travels to face Brighton.

The Brazilian was one of the Toffees key performers in the much-needed Gameweek 9 win over West Ham and Marco Silva has kept faith in him.

Supporting Richarlison in his free-ranging centre-forward role is an attacking midfield trio of Theo Walcott (£6.2m), Alex Iwobi (£5.8m) and Bernard (£6.5m).

Djibril Sidibé (£5.3m) keeps his place in the XI despite Seamus Coleman (£5.4m) returning from suspension, who is handed a place on the bench.

Brighton retain faith in the 4-4-2 system used in their defeat to Aston Villa, Steven Alzate (£4.5m) coming in for the suspended Aaron Mooy (£4.8m) and Leandro Trossard (£5.8m) still on the bench.

Josh King (£6.3m) returns to the Bournemouth side after featuring only as a substitute against Norwich.

Crucially, a first start for Arnaut Danjuma (£5.8m) on the left of the midfield means that the Norwegian is back up-front alongside Callum Wilson (£8.0m).

Harry Wilson (£6.1m) drops to the bench as Ryan Fraser (£7.1m) starts on the right of midfield.

Eddie Howe’s men travel to face a Watford side that seems to be settling into a 3-5-2 system.

Adam Masina (£4.3m) comes in for the suspended Jose Holebas (£4.7m) at left-back while Gerard Deulofeu (£6.1m) starts in the place of the injured Danny Welbeck (£5.9m) up-front.

Finally, Fabian Balbuena (£4.3m) comes into the West Ham defence for his first start since Gameweek 1, Angelo Ogbonna (£4.5m) dropping to the bench.

Pablo Fornals (£6.1m) is also demoted there, so that Andriy Yarmolenko (£6.0m), Robert Snodgrass (£5.2m) and Felipe Anderson (£6.9m) can support Sebastien Haller (£7.4m) in attack.

As expected, John Lundstram (£4.6m) holds his place in the Sheffield United midfield as Callum Robinson (£5.3m) and David McGoldrick (£5.4m) start up-front.

Brighton XI: Ryan; Burn, Webster, Dunk, Montoya; Alzate, Pröpper, D Stephens, Groß; Maupay, Connolly.

Everton XI: Pickford; Digne, Holgate, Keane, Sidibé; A Gomes, T Davies; Bernard, Iwobi, Walcott; Richarlison.

Watford XI: Foster; Kabasele, Dawson, Cathcart; Masina, Chalobah, Cleverley, Doucouré, Janmaat; Pereyra, Deulofeu.

Bournemouth XI: Ramsdale; Rico, Aké, S Cook, Smith; Danjuma, Billing, Lerma, Fraser; J King, C Wilson.

West Ham XI: Roberto; Cresswell, Diop, Balbuena, Zabaleta; Noble, Rice; Anderson, Yarmolenko, Snodgrass; Haller.

Sheff Utd XI: D Henderson; O’Connell, Egan, Basham; Stevens, Fleck, Norwood, Lundstram, Baldock; Robinson, McGoldrick.

Whilst I was gutted that I didn’t decide to simply do Pukki > Vardy that Dilva goal confirmation makes me feel a little better as I bought him and Deulofeu in instead. Come on Deulofeu get me a goal!

Aguero and Connolly ---> Vardy and Jimenez after Man City play Southampton?

Good moves or would you get someone else?

Let's try that again... From the PL Live Blog:

      Man City's second goal:
After review from the Goal Accreditation Panel, Man City’s second goal had been awarded to David Silva. The decision was split two votes to one.

The Goal Accreditation Panel is an independent entity which has no affiliation with VAR. The VAR decision was made on the evidence available.

Wilson to Vardy by using 2FT to ditch Maddison too, or just Wilson to Jimenez, then Aguero to Vardy GW12

If Kun starts in the cup midweek we can possibly assume Jesus will start against Southampton. Not that you want to risk taking Kun out before that game

Interesting that Vardy is actually averaging less goal attempts per game than last season, it's just his conversion is off the charts: 45% vs. 23% last season. Clinical.

It has to be said, if they are going to retrospectively after the game change goalscorers etc, then why don't they change actual goals being given etc too?
Surely same treatment should apply to both?

Changing a goalscorer post-game doesn't impact the game, per se. Awarding goals or taking them away once the match is over doesn't allow for any response during play. Any such decisions made during a match would drastically affect the dynamic of the game and, therefore, alter the outcome.

This changes top scorers / bookies and bets etc though?

That's a fair point, although endeavours to credit the right individual should never come secondary to extraneous financial factors like the betting industry.

For the record, I don't agree with either. And, while it does appear somewhat inconsistent to condone one but not the other, I still think the goalscorer issue has considerably less impact on the integrity of the game.
