The Scoutcast is back once again to cover the key discussion topics ahead of Gameweek 11.

David will be joined by Az and current FFS Mods and Cons joint-leader Andy Goddard this week.

The show will run from 20:00 GMT until 21:00 GMT. You can watch it on our YouTube channel.

Up first, the Scoutcast crew will reflect on a Gameweek 10 fraught with contrasting emotions.

Andy did exceptionally well – David and Az did not.

Then, moving forward into Gameweek 11, we will tackle the Manchester City rotation debate, how seriously to take Leicester’s recent form and whether budget defences are coming back into fashion once again.

      As above. Mendy is an obvious shout, but a risk with fixtures/injuries. I would look at wolves and except you may not get a CS this week, but looks better going forward.

      This is the reason why the oft repeated adage abut only casuals making transfers midweek is nonsense. These days the market moves so fast you have to sometimes identify your transfer targets and make the move even if it entails a slight risk of them getting injured in midweek matches.

      This GW my hand was forced again to bring in Martial and Vardy. They have both risen and the players going the other way have both fallen in value. I only had the exact funds so if I had left it another 24 hours I could not have made the transfers.

      Sometimes you have to take the risk.

      It's frustrating and annoying. This game punishes patient players, and seemingly encourages you to monitor FPL every day which is something not everyone has time for.

        I agree it's something which could be looked at. Checking fpl stats every night before I go to sleep is unhealthy and sad.

          It's 100% sad. This is where the game becomes an addiction and gets out of hand. I recall a prominent poster struggling mentally because of FPL, so perhaps more needs to be done to make it an everyday thing you have to check.

          For example: Price changes happen every Monday and Friday only etc.

          It's something FPL need to look into, imo.

            Not even planning on doing a transfer this week either and I'm still looking in the false hope Vardy doesn't rise 0.3. 1000% sad.

            I think they should be rises the night all matches in a GW have finished and the night before the GW kicks off - not limited to 0.1 increments either.

            I can also see this adding to team variation. People have more time to think of transfers rather than just kneejerk in the highest scorer that week.

        Yep. I have less time this year to focus on fpl. I find that if I just wait until Friday I don't know what price changes have happened so I work with what I have. If I'm monitoring it all week it stresses me out!

        For me the upside is CHO to Ayew. Ayew is good this season and plays Burnley at home. CHO could be ok but also could be benched. Very in nailed. Sterling may be more nailed than Aguero but I feel the great difference is in the other two players. Then Kun bangs in four at home V Saints ... but lol

        I'm not sold on double defence given Matip's injury and Klopp's seemingly preferring Lovren at the moment.

        Yeah he hasn't looked particularly great. Saw a tweet the other day which showed that this period (Nov-Dec) has twice in a row been his best period for Liverpool - he has the fixtures for it. You're right though, he doesn't look fully fit.

        Its doable but im not sure at Maupay at that price

        Its actually doable as it stands to do:

        Ota --> TAA
        Son --> Mane
        Traore --> Martial
        Auba --> Greenwood

        So tempting....
