Rashford recovers from knock as Solskjaer names unchanged starting XI

Gameweek 11 kicks off at a windswept Vitality Stadium this lunchtime, with Manchester United the visitors to Bournemouth.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named an unchanged starting XI to the United side who overcame Norwich City last weekend.

The Red Devils have lost just once in their last eight matches in all competitions, with last Sunday’s success at Carrow Road eye-catching from an attacking perspective.

This match on the south coast will perhaps be a truer test for many of their Fantasy assets, with the Canaries having been a very obliging defence in 2019/20.

United will be looking to the likes of Anthony Martial (£7.6m) to deliver against the Cherries, with the Frenchman yet to register a blank when he has started in the league this year.

Marcus Rashford (£8.5m) will be aiming to deliver yet another goalscoring performance to build on successive nine-points hauls and his midweek brace against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup.

Yet whilst United will be aiming to continue their momentum, they will be coming up against a Bournemouth side who have been keeping it exceptionally tight at the back in recent weeks.

The Cherries will be looking to continue the promising defensive form that has seen them keep successive clean sheets in the top flight.

Eddie Howe’s side have been suffering a drought in front of goal of late, however.

Failure to score against United in the lunchtime kick-off would mark a fourth consecutive blank for Bournemouth’s frontline, though Howe has persisted in his faith towards striking duo Callum Wilson (£7.9m) and Josh King (£6.3m).

Harry Wilson (£6.0m) has also been handed a spot in the starting XI in a bid to revitalise the Cherries’ attacking fortunes.

His inclusion marks the only charge to the Bournemouth side who laboured to a 0-0 draw against Watford at Vicarage Road last weekend, with Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld (£5.8m) dropping to the bench.

Bournemouth XI (4-4-2): Ramsdale; Smith, S.Cook, Ake, Rico, H.Wilson, Lerma, Billing, Fraser; C.Wilson, King.

Manchester United XI (4-2-3-1): De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Young; McTominay, Fred; Pereira, James, Rashford; Martial.

      Completely disagree

      Who are the real differentials.

He has loaded up on Liverpool (huge fixture swing coming), City (awesome team) and United (huge fixture swing).

Only slight surprise is he has done it this week given it’s city vs Liverpool next week.

I agree with Mark that those who have yet to board the Vardy train have probably missed it

Rico 3rd on my bench. United had better step up that gear now

Being brave is pretty easy when you’ve totally ruined your season already

More the rubbish behind the scenes making the decisions!

Hard to know. They usually seem to wait until CL qualification is mathematically impossible, so going on that, probably about a month

Honest question, how much better do you expect him to do with this squad, which is the youngest in the league and which has suffered from horrendous transfer decisions for about 6 years?

The banter between Fletch and Macca in that first half was typically woeful. What an awful pair they are.

Nobody is worse than Martin Tyler. Used to be great but his time is done and his pension is calling.

Peter Drury is the best commentator.

Drury is pure class. I also really rate John Murray on Radio 5

Murray is definitely not "poo-er". (spoken in NE accent)

No way John Murray. Ian Dennis is the one on five live. Really funny too

Dennis is good too but Murray is the best.

You refer to their names as if you know them personally.

No just easier than trying about their full names.
