looking at your team it's suddenly dawned on me how screwed mine is this week

I can get to that exact starting XI, plus Rico and Soyuncu on the bench, with my 2FT doing KDB and Connolly > Maddison and Jimenez. The more I see Vardy, Abraham and Jimenez up top together the more I like it, especially given KDB’s deep-lying position.

A + C for me. I always like having two cheap defenders for crap teams teams playing against each other. Hard to predict who will get cleanie, but good chance that one of them will and outside chance of 0-0. The fact that those two both have attacking threat means goal involvement chance too.

For what it’s worth, I have Lundstram last on my bench this week. Expecting a 0 or less from him this week, ignoring the ridiculous hype about starting him every week.

He doesn't do well against Liverpool and is on 4 yellow cards.

Not done much since GW 1, over priced, too dependant on Mendy starting and the likes, Aguero impacts his output, useless at present in the PL, and won't captain anywhere near in the future. Mose pointless waste of funds in the game at current. Needs 100 chances to score 1, list goes on.

Good to go. Fooled me for a minute - thought 'who does Lord play for?'. Swapping Mane in for Sterling is what a lot have done, and it's not unreasonable. Depends on your attitude to taking a hit, which requires him to get more than 4 to be a success.

Always scared to bench Lund as so many own him and you never know if he's going to score. Rico probably best chance of clean sheet as Newcastle only scored 3 at home. I have same issue with Mendy, I'm starting TAA, Pereira and Rico. Then have to decide between Lund and Mendy.

There's a lot of tough defensive start order issues this week.
I'd actually bench Mendy and probably order yours TAA, Tomori, Lund, Rico, Mendy - with Lund/Rico being a preference thing.

I'd get rid of Cantrell rather than Mount if affordable, as he's apparently not a sure starter now. Lots of people with similar teams selling either Sterling or KDB to enable better choices in rest of squad, but a big City win against Pool could make it all look pretty stupid. Big call.
