    Pope.
    Robbo, Soyuncu, Lundstram.
    Pulisic, Mane, KDB, Salah, Cantwell.
    Abraham, Vardy.
    Button, Janmaat, A. Smith, Wickham.
1ft. 0.0m ITB. Still have WC.

Think I will do Abraham -> Jimenez unless it becomes very clear that Tammy will miss at most 1 game.
    What do we reckon?

He said he is fine, scan tomorrow though. Jimenez fixtures turn soon and can't guarantee minutes with Europa plus fixture congestion

Jimenez has played every game after Europa. Also he is fixture proof.

    Bottomed

    What everyone’s take on Fleck?

Thinking of doing Doug Luiz > Fleck.

Sheffield has a very nice run of fixtures and could be a good diff off the beach if Tammy was deemed out this GW. Big if though lol.

    Thoughts??

Not sure that it's worth the transfer tbh . How many FT 's have you got ? This is only one I would do if there was nothing else that needed fixing.

Did Digne->Robbo doubling up on Pool defence for the next 4 before WCing.

Looking good? Anything I should do the next few weeks? 3 million in the bank.

    Ryan
    Robbo, TAA, Lundstram, Chilwell
    Mane (VC), Pulisic, Martial, Mount

Thanks, but Robbo allready locked in. He is like a left winger bombing down that side so even if Pool still can't keep a CS he can still get points, pluss the upside of a 15 pointer every game.

Can do Mount to a max 9,6 mid, so 0,1 short of Son, but not sure I wanted him anyway... Best midfielder for that amount you reckon? Maddison, Alli, Zaha, Moura?

Conventionally, the FH chip is used towards end of season on blank gameweeks, which tend to have fewer fixtures and typically fewer players from your team playing. Doesn't mean you have to stick with convention though

Just after some advice please. I have already used my ft = Sterling out & Son in & I have $3.7m bank. Is anything worth a -4 hit. Thoughts & thanks.

    Ryan
    Lundstram, Soyuncu, Tomori
    Mane, Son, Pulisic, Martial
    Vardy (c), Abraham*, Jimenez

    Heaton, Janmaat*, McGinn, Rico

My question is do I need to bolster my defense with the likes of TAA, Robertson, Chilwell, Aurier or even another Sheffield defender or is my defense fine for this week. If I do it will provide insurance in case Abraham is out for the week.

Ok. I accept that I don't know to play this game yet. Pls enlighten me with below.

    1. What motivates you to get rid of Pukki after couple of blanks? I thought it was a foolish move considering his price and championship form. Oh yeah I still have him

    2. How did you jump into Vardy train early? Just because of his hat-trick?: 9M was too much for him in my mind. Oh yeah I still don't own him.

Above 2 players are the main causes of my downfall.

    1. Holmes
      • 10 Years
      4 years, 4 months ago

I was late on Pukki train, didnt got any return from him. Got rid of him following my rule of "3 consecutive blanks and you are out".

    2. mookie
      • 10 Years
      4 years, 4 months ago

Pukki had blanked like six times before I got rid of him. Can't remember being that patient with a forward in the past.
Got Vardy for his hattrick as the fixtures got better for Leicester. Rodgers gets the best out of his strikers, even Sturridge scored 20+ under him.

    3. bench boost for every gamew…
      • 7 Years
      4 years, 4 months ago

      1. Norwich went downhill after that City game and that´s the reason, if a striker plays for a team that goes into pieces then i get rid. If it just that he does not score you can be more patient. With all the injuries that was bound to happen. My fault was bringing him in on WC GW4, should have been less fear and more rationale
      2. Combination of form and fixtures i guess. Owning Vardy saves me from losing my hair before i´m fifthy (unlike many strikers he does not miss a lot of chances). Liverpool away in gw8 was a factor i should have just ignored, brought in Auba because he had better fixtures..

    4. Regin
      • 6 Years

Couple of blanks? More like 6 blanks.

The team is not good. The win against Everton was a shocker. Let's see if it was a one off.

    5. wernerhedgehog
      • 6 Years
      4 years, 4 months ago

      1. Most important skill is identifying the teams that are going to be title contenders and those that are naive/sacking-in-progress. Vardy is the former, and Pukki is the latter.

      2. Don't spend too much effort looking at past stats (which deceived most people about these two). Stats are usually for tiebreaker decisions or captaincy.

      3. Consider how many will captain the said player. Vardy was becoming popular. Pukki was never captain.

    6. theguy69
      • 4 Years
      4 years, 4 months ago

      1. basically people talk about a player on here if they look good when they watch the footie (i.e. the eye test). If people say pukki sucks, chances are his form has dipped. The crowd is rarely wrong. It is the marginal cases like "Ings vs Jiminez" or whatever that you want to focus on.

      2. Forget everything you know about the prices, FPL towers doesn't care what price the player was when they give them points. 9m for an in form striker? good stuff. If someone like vardy gets a 12 pts GW you'll only have missed one weeks worth anyway if you jump in on it.

      1. theguy69
        • 4 Years
        4 years, 4 months ago

oh yeah and like was said above. Picking your team based on stats alone will give you sterling, salah, aguero, none of which have actually performed recently. They are just stats, just a tool

    Ohh Tammy ...
Fluffed all the transfer plans now. Glad I'm still hanging in to the FT. Although the Twitter itk said that it was only a knock. Hopefully Pressers will be clear from Lampard.
KdB >> Son move now has to take the backstage.

Also, how did salah play yesterday ??

Yo Amey, yeah Tammy has thrown a bit of a spanner in the works, but he may only be out for like 2 games, was stood up and fine giving interview after the game, presser will give more info.

Ahhh, Salah, he’s not making it easy. Anonymous last night, the urge to do Salah + Mount > Son + Pulisic may be too strong to pass up on, and could just play 451 this GW.
Really don’t know, may even give Salah the Brighton game and give KDB the boot instead 🙂

I think he will start, CHO is nursing an injury and Pedro is nowhere near the play of others, and honestly can't see Lampard having to play Kante Jorginho and Kovacic. Mount may very well start, but on the same level as pulisic's chances i'd say if not more likely.

You are about right i think. I love Willian as a player, he always gives team he plays for balance providing pace, trickery and also hard work. He´s an intelligent footballer, and very well versed because of his experience. My hesitation is that he tends not to be clinical enough and kinda is the player that gets MOTM but does not always reflects in FPL points. Pulisic is more greedy, like Son and that you want in a FPLplayer, Willian is too nice.

That said, i might go for him.

        Exactly same feeling mate.
Really want to keep Mo Salah.

Re Tammy, I don't have great bench cover so I'm not sure what to do tbh

I wanna keep Salah as well, really wanna give him that Brighton game, if he fails in that i’d have to move him on. However that Napoli game was the first game back for him so that’ll of done him some good.
Only respectable cover i have for Tammy is Lundstram, leaving Vardy up top on his own in a 451.
Should Lampard come out and say Tammy is out for 3 games plus, then i’d look at the likes of Ings with an immediate great next 2 fixtures, Moussett if fit, or in my case Jiminez maybe, but would rather make a midfield change.

            Absolutely.
Ings is ready made alternative fir him.
Will lose hell lot of value so don't think can get him back afterwards.

Will have to upgrade Tielemans to Pulisic/Willian to stay in points from Chelsea games after 3/4 gw's. So going without Chelsea till gw 18 is on the cards here.

Really want to bin KDB for Son too but yeah, not gonna take hit

I’m no stranger to hits and wouldn’t mind doing one but yeah, KDB out for a hit maybe a tad rash.
Going with no chelsea could be risky but rotation could save you there anyway. I still have high belief in Tielemans for next game.
The value loss on Tammy will be annoying as well, eagerly awaiting Lamps presser, out for one or 2 games then job done, easy keep.

        Thoughts on Tammy -> Kane?

And what are Jiminez and Lund owners doing? Playing both or benching one?

Also playing both. Wolves haven't been keeping too many clean sheets (only 1 all season against Watford) so both could conceivably score. Clean sheet unlikely for Lund though.

Forward template gone. Just when Jesus Laca and spurs come into the reckoning. I have to hold onto Abe due to early tfrs but most won't. How many price drops can we expect and what surgery is everyone doing. For me I have a Martial problem so -4 next week. Thinking ings and Mora for Abe and martial. A move I am not o we excited about

Could be another KDB scenario if he's only out for a couple of games so definitely worth holding until further news and unless he's going to be out for 3+ games IMO. I think the multitude of good fixtures this week is probably tempting people into a rash transfer which they might regret given Chelsea's upcoming fixtures. Having said that, I don't have any other Chelsea cover so might need to do something.

If Abraham is out for more that a week or 2 I think I will go Abraham to Ings rather than to Jimmy.
The Ings move would also allow cash for Stephens to Pulisic. And later something like Greenwood to JAyew.
What ye think of this squad for the busy times ahead. Thanks

The headache is not too bad right now as Greenwood and Stephens are on the bench every week.
The other thing is Jimmy’s fixtures turn soon Ings and Ayew have a very good run of fixtures and I need to get player in who have decent GW18 fixtures ( I might make an exception for Pulisic.

Van persie always used tobsay that past glory vs teams and on their stadiums made him push much harder as he had confidence that as its been done before, it can be surely repeated
