Zaha did score and Crystal do have a good fixture run.

But apart from that goal (which was a big error from Pope rather than a well worked goal)
im not convinced like many others around here.

Id rather go defensively than to trust Crystal to score a few each game.

    Thoughts?

Agree. It's why I'm leaning Grealish over Zaha currently.

Grealish is looking good indeed. Football wise.

I've brought him in on a WC as a punt (easy fix if not working out). He's the star man for (albeit a very poor attacking wise) Palace and they have a run of great fixtures, at 6.4 I think he is worth a go

Did you watch the full match? I haven't yet so I don't know what his performance was like.
From what I remember he is the type of player who once he hits form he usually goes on a good run of points

No. Its not about him being a bad player or having bad performances.
But viewing highlights of Crystal, there arent many goal scoring opportunities imo.

Statistically, he didn't do much apart from the fortunate goal

On form he's always an attacking threat and Palace's main attacking threat so with decent fixtures should get decent points plus a nice few baps.

it is worth getting in a defender or even guaita

its incredible how mike riley seems intent on taking the common sense aspect out of VAR that they use in the Champions league/other European leagues. is it just to be different? in europe they encourage linesmen not to put up their flag if they arent sure about an offiside so then it can be checked by VAR and they make the call . that way you dont have a flag affecting defenders or even the attacking players (that could have happened with ihenachos goal and cant say for sure it didnt effect Holgate. Personally I dont think it did but there will be soon be an occasion when it does). on top of that he has also encouraged refs not to use the monitors. why is this man in charge?

The PL are opposed to VAR IMO. They brought it in after everyone else and implemented it differently. It is because they want it to go wrong.

certainly appears that way. they ultimately seem to view it as something that could potentially undermine an official and his job even though its really there to catch stuff that the human eye cant in those split seconds. In europe its seen as something to help a ref. thats the difference

in other leagues & bundesliga especially VAR is used perfectly i would say.
PL not using it correctly. they are too stubborn.

No idea on the stats, but Zaha had Leicester, Chelsea, Liverpool and Burnley in last 4. His next four are Bournemouth, Watford, Brighton Newcastle. Pulisic does have decent fixtures too though.

              Good point this.

Mount is the one to go. And i can go up to 7.6.

Both Pulisic and Zaha are diffs in my mini leagues. I trust Chelsea to get more goals over the christmas period, and I dont have Tammy anymore. I could ofcourse go Zaha now, and buy back Tammy when he returns.. hard one this.

Out of Pulisic and Zaha, I'd go Pulisic all day long.

Looks like he can haul in any match. He's so direct, shoots a lot, and creates chances. Plays for a more attacking team also.

Defence is weaker but thats a great team in attacking way. All major clubs are covered, like that you still have Auba, Tammy also. Hold on Martial for Spurs at least.

          TAA Soyuncu Lundstram Tomori Rico
          Mane KdB Martial Son Pulisic
          Vardy Abraham Connolly

          0.0m

I'm a bit stumped this week. I feel like I can just save here or start making some proactive moves that put me at risk of overmanaging (Ze_Austin I'm looking at you)

          1. Save
          2. Martial + Pope (-4) > Schmeichel + Grealish (gives me funds to consider Pulisic > Alli)
          3. Martial + Tomori (-4) > Reid (3.9m) + Alli

What am I not considering? I don't really want to get rid of Abraham. Was hoping he was either ruled out or confirmed. I have a bad feeling he'll start on the bench and come on for the last few minutes. Ditching him also doesn't give many good options. Jimenez is super boring and uninspired and his good fixtures are running out. Ings is easily crocked and also losing good fixtures.

Considering it. But I'm now on Grealish more than Zaha. Better stats, better team. Zaha scored one lucky goal otherwise he was pretty anonymous. He's a good pick but not a great one.

Help please! Someone tell me this plan is good!

            1FT, 1.2ITB

            Gazza, Ryan

            TAA, Tomori, Aurier, Lunds, Kelly

Mane, KDB, Mount, D. James, Saka

            Jesus, Vardy, Jimenez

            D. James -> Djenepo this GW
Jesus -> Abraham when fit again, likely GW16
Jimenez -> Kane in GW19 when Wolves fixtures swing

Also leaves me decent options in Djenepo, Aurier or Kelly for TAA and Mane in GW18.

            What do you think?

Just fix one of Mount or James and see what happens. Rather have JWP than Djenepo.

Cheers for the reply, i think they have similar attacking potential, but djenepo being 0.6m cheaper makes me more interested, especially for future funding of a big hitter like kane.

So what do you guys think about Salah? He is not in form but Mane is also not great. Pool has great fixtures on horizon and hockey cockey for Mane doesn’t make sense. Stick with one and pray they start hauling. Double defence is also great option but they are missing cs.

If you're on Salah I'd just keep rather than trying to swap to Mane now. I wouldn't look to be bringing him in if I didn't have him.

Thats the thing. I have to keep 12.2m and just pray he is the right one. Always planned to have him as a season keeper but this way is going to be a long season....

Have both and will stick. Very disappointed neither got returns last gw. Made an arse of my gw. Oh well. Everton are utter dirt so I'd expect both to get something in that game.

Wow thats a big sacrifice but if they both haul in same game you are the king. Can’t blame you but there are too many options and having 25m in pool attack is just too much. GL

Take out both, without transferring them just comparison and see what kind of midfield you can have. Mane doing ok but not for that spend. Salah is woefully overpriced.

I had a GW rank of 2 m and still a green flagg. Lots of dead teams with VVD i guess

                    A) Pope -> Henderson

                    Or

                    B) Martial -> Zaha

so lampard comments about tammy suggests to me he is unlikely to start this gw.
Glad i sold him for ings.

gonna now do mount to pulisic.

                      I think he'll play.

                      - Lampard says Tammy is expected to get outside and train, good sign
                      - Got two days to prove his fitness, I'd guess if he shows enough in half a session he'll be in
                      - They got beat at the weekend, need to bounce back and he's their main striker
                      - He'll be eager to prove his fitness to play Villa where he spent last season on loan
                      - It was only a bruised hip

Which keeper to get for the foreseeable?

                    A - Henderson (4.7)
                    B - Guaita (5.0)

Would expect them to perform similarly, so Hendo for value

With 2 FT and no immediate fires to fight (holding Tammy)...

                    Pope to Hendo?

Similar situation to me. 2FT and nothing major to do so just gonna upgrade Ryan. I think I'll go Hendo - they seem more defensively sound than Palace but the stats might not back that up.

Hi guys, pretty pleased with the team right now, although Mount is becoming a concern. Any obvious moves?

Reading that it might be a good idea to get rid of Kane and bring Alli in?
