You can read about how Liverpool and Manchester City assets got on in their respective fixtures on Saturday by clicking the links below, however.

MATCH REPORT: Liverpool 2-1 Brighton and Hove Albion

Maybe Mcgovern to David to not waste the transfer and have another playing GK (if only for a few weeks)? Better option than Pope this week as well?

      Also, I'd start Tammy ..

Pretty poor play not to leave yourself in a position where you need to use your wildcard. I manage to do this every season.

Last year I used it on Dec 30th for housekeeping. I don't think two wildcards are strictly necessary to be honest.

Thoughts on Lampard's comments on Tammy?

‘We will find out more today and tomorrow. He needs to get outside and move a little bit outside over the next two days.’

What to do with this front 8?

    Sterling(!) - Mane - Maddison - Mount(!) - Dendoncker
    Vardy - Jimenez - Tammy(!)

Would like to get Alli or Son in. Zaha an option too, Mousset/Ings are nice cheap Tammy replacements.

2 fts, 0.5m in the bank, thoughts?

Am I mad for wanting Kane? I have Son already but if FPL has taught me anything in recent years, it's that Harry Kane loves festive fixtures. I know Alli is in form but I don't think I could put the armband on him. Kane represents a real captaincy option, particularly in BGW18 when captains are sparse as he loves London derbies too.

I also see GW16 and BUR as a potential 26-pointer.

        Best use of 2FTs?

Have 0.6 in bank. Keeper an option and maybe Abraham if fit. Like Son but hard to fit him in without removing Mane/KDB.

        Pope
        Robby, Lund, Soyu
        Mane, Maddy, KDB, Mount
        Vardy, Jimmy, Rash
        Gazza, Tomori, Dendo, Rico,

Hmm that's not easy as I would say Alli/ Son are better options than KDB atm but Kevin is always going to end up a great long term FPL asset.

Really not sure what I would do - maybe just the keeper move this week.

Agree on Son/Alli, but that move could wait to after United away. Save 1FT and you'll manage to get one of the Spurs mids in for next GW.

Thanks all. Keeper the obvious move for me unless Abraham is declared fit. Could get Son next week but would have to do Rico>Kelly this week and then Mount/Rash>Son/Ings. Would need no price rises/falls for these players though.

Would appreciate you views on this - apologies it's a bit long!

        Afternoon all

After using my FT over the weekend, I am planning to hold on further moves this GW.
I'm not usually one to plan moves looking weeks ahead but I was just playing around and have seen I could do these moves over the next 2-3 weeks at a cost of -4 / -8:

        Pope > Guaita
        Rico > Aurier
        Mount > Pulisic
        Dendo > Zaha/ Grealish

This would give me the following team with £2.3m itb and flexibility to bring in MCI and potentially to just bench my LIV assets in GW18 for the blank:

        2.3itb
        Guaita, McGovern
        TAA, Soy, Lunds, Willems, Aurier
Mané, Alli, Maddison, Pulisic, Zaha/ Grealish
        Vardy, Jimi, Ings

Keen to get your thoughts. Looking at the moves, they are all upgrades and should pay back any hits within a couple of weeks.

        Thanks

I think based on fixtures it wouldn’t be terrible to pick 2 defenders to bench from those and rotate Ings/ Grealish for starts.

I could forget the Rico > Aurier move and leave myself even more itb?

        Behind the curve(template)?

Who else feels like they're behind the curve in terms of, there are loads of players I want to bring in, but only 1FT a week.

        e.g.
        Rico > Aurier
Mount > Pulisic or Maddison or Zaha

Did Barnes (differential that didn't pay off) > Alli this week already.

I've got a fairly similar team (I think most on here do in fairness), and one thing I'm considering is Pope to Guaita.

I hate transfers for a GK generally but think it may prove quite shrewd over the next 6-8 games.

No Leicester or Liverpool player then? They are probably the besr captain options. I’d captain Sterling out of those.

        Pope (Button)
        Robbo TAA Lordstram (Rico,Hanley)
Mane De Bruyne Maddison Perez (Guenduzi)
        Mousset Ings Vardy

Tempted to bring either Alli or Son in for Perez, but maybe wait for 1 more week since Manu tend not to lose at Old Trafford? Alli is thriving under Mourinho but Son has been the more consistent one? Who‘d you rather get?

I’d get Son but probably after Man U match. Both managers play with defensive tactics in big games, so we might see both teams parking the bus and playing counter attack on Wednesday.

If you had to treble up on Spurs, who would you take?

        Thoughts on this:

        Pope (Button)

        Tomori, Soy, Lord (Kelly, Rico)

        Salah, Sterling, KDB, Mount (Lansbury)

        Ings, Jimmy, Vardy(C)

        3.0m ITB. 1 FT.

        A) Pope > Hendo/Schmeichel

        B) Tomori > TAA

        C) Mount > Alli

Alli outperforming Mount could easily be the summary for Spurs outperforming Chelsea.

I can afford Mount-Alli, Cantwell-Pulisic, Roberto (I know...) to Martin for the exact funds across the next two gameweeks for a -4, to give me a line-up of:

        Pope
        TAA-Soy-Lundy
        KDB-Mane-Son-Alli-Pulisic
        Abraham-Vardy

        (Martin, Rico, C.Taylor, Connolly)

Thoughts? Too much Spurs? Do you think I should keep Cantwell and play 3-4-3 moving forwards, upgrading Connolly to a Rashford-type striker?
