FPL Question Time – Consult our panel ahead of Gameweek 17

After the end of a frenetic week in which three Gameweeks were contested, Fantasy managers now have a little time to take stock and assess their options ahead of the next flurry of games.

There are still five Gameweek deadlines to negotiate between now and New Year’s Day and planning for the festive period is likely to be at the forefront of many of our thoughts.

Blank Gameweek 18, Manchester City’s misfiring midfielders, Tottenham Hotspur assets and rotation are other topics that may well be dominating the agenda.

We’ve assembled another panel of managers to help you out with any Fantasy-related dilemmas you may have for this weekend and beyond.

WHO’S ON THE PANEL THIS WEEK?

G-Whizz – A valued member of our moderator team and currently in his fifth FPL season, G-Whizz managed a personal best finish of 4,404th in 2018/19.

Andy – Pro Pundit, Let’s Talk FPL host and occasional Scoutcaster, Andy has come aboard to Fantasy Football Scout full-time recently. He has two top 10k finishes and an additional three inside the top 20k over the last nine years.

Lateriser – Another one of our Pro Pundits, Lateriser has registered two finishes in the top 200 (one of them equating to number one in India) and four in the top 10,000 in the last six seasons.

Soy offers little chance of attacking points so one Norwich goal is all it takes to blank - not unlikely.

Aurier is one of the most attacking defenders in the league under Jose. He's practically a winger. But Spurs' defence is horrible.

        Tough.

agreed, though I would think the odds are higher for a foxes cs against Norwich than an aurier attacking return...but as you say - though.

The Gameweeks might slow down for a couple of weeks but we're still in need of a new Community Champion.

The Scouts have picked up another win in Gameweek 16 with a score of 84-64 thanks to a shrewd Salah pick, Vardy bringing home the bacon again, and a Palace double up of Guaita and Kelly.

Think you have the eye to pick the differentials and form a winning team vs the Scout Picks? We need a Community Champion to represent us vs the Scout Picks for Gameweek 17.

The Community Champion picks a team including a captain to go up against the Scout Picks, within a budget of 83m and in a playable FPL formation. Whichever Gameweek champion beats the Scout’s team by the largest margin will win a £100 Amazon Voucher!

If you're interested in applying, email Geoff (geoff@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk) with your FFS username and FPL Team ID.

The Champion will be picked by the end of Wednesday, so make sure to enter by then! The Champion then has until 11am Friday morning to send in their team.

    Good luck!
