Mount returns to the Chelsea starting XI as injured Pulisic misses out

The first three Premier League matches to take place on Sunday kicks off at 14:00 GMT, as Arsenal welcome Chelsea to the Emirates.

After the widespread rotation across the country on Saturday, there is relatively little team news to report from north London.

Mikel Arteta has made only two changes for his first home fixture in charge of Arsenal, both of which are enforced.

Calum Chambers (£4.4m), back from suspension, replaces the injured Sokratis (£4.9m), while Matteo Guendouzi (£4.4m) returns at the expense of Granit Xhaka (£5.1m), who is ill.

Nicolas Pepe (£9.1m) is only among the substitutes as Reiss Nelson (£5.3m) is again chosen to accompany Mesut Ozil (£7.2m), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (£10.8m) and Alexandre Lacazette (£9.3m) in the Gunners’ four-man attack.

Budget FPL midfielder Bukayo Saka (£4.5m) is deployed at left-back, meanwhile.

Frank Lampard has also made a couple of alterations to the Chelsea side that lost 2-0 at home to Southampton.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (£5.4m) and Jorginho (£4.9m) both drop to the bench, with Mateo Kovacic (£5.3m) and Mason Mount (£6.4m) handed recalls.

Christian Pulisic (£7.1m) is not in the visitors’ matchday squad, with a minor injury being widely reported for the American.

The Blues look to be in the same 3-4-3 shape that the deployed away at Spurs in Gameweek 18, with Mount and Willian (£7.1m) flanking Tammy Abraham (£7.8m) in attack.

There of the five most-sold players of Gameweek 20 – Mount, Pulisic and Abraham – are on Chelsea’s books.

The Blues have kept only one clean sheet on the road this season, while Arsenal have recorded just one shut-out on home soil.

Arsenal XI: Leno; Maitland-Niles, Chambers, Luiz, Saka; Torreira, Guendouzi; Nelson, Ozil, Aubameyang; Lacazette.

Chelsea XI: Kepa; Tomori, Rudiger, Zouma; Emerson, Kovacic, Kante, Azpilicueta; Willian, Mount, Abraham.

Maybe Frank will actually play Jorginho and Kovacic together again now. Would make Tammy an asset again.

The website used to crash when traffic peaks, so I built a lighter version of the rank page to be shown when traffic is high, and now the website rarely crashes. When traffic is not peaked, the heavier page with more info is shown.

I might be chatting total rubbish as I havent tested it on another account. But you know on the live rank page, I think at the end of a GW at the bottom of the page it shows players in the top 10k you dont own and what damage they can do vs you. This specific table only shows players you dont own. On the eve of this gameweek I did Mane>Salah and liveFPL removed Salah and added Mane to that list. So basically liveFPL knew what my transfer was before the GW deadline passed.

I dont need to enter any other details other than my FPL id to get that table to come up, so anyone with my user ID could go and compare my team to that list just before the deadline and see if I got in/or out any player listed there. Can it be used to figure out transfers or am I losing the plot here?

Hmm, there is absolutely no way the website (or anyone without your login details) knows your transfer before the deadline.. Are you 100% sure this happened before the deadline?

I did the transfer at like 11pm on the eve of the deadline, looked at liveFPL and Salah was no longer in that table and Mane was (and that was like 20mins later or something).
That table im referring to only shows players I dont own right?

Yes it only shows players you don't own, but also if a player has an EO > 100% and you didn't captain him, it shows that player because he can still hurt your rank. For example, if you didn't captain Vardy this week, he will show up in this table with 18.1% EO that you don't have.

Did Mane have EO >100% last week, I don't remember? That could be the only explanation

It also sorts the table with players who made maximum damage, and as Salah blanked last week, he might have been near the bottom of the table and you didn't notice.

No need to apologize, I am just as curious 😀 But I guarantee you 100% that liveFPL only uses the data made available by the official FPL, no privacy hacks involved. It would need the login details if so, and there's no reason to do that when all the features are built around just knowing the FPL id.

I apologise if im wrong and misread the table or something but Mane was in that list and Salah wasnt (I wanted to check Salahs ownership and had to go to a different page to do that).

I don't know what you mean, but if you can see your own team with team ID, it isn't something to worry imo. Your device might be logged in. But do check if you can see somebody else's team.

I was going to test it but I need someone to make a transfer and then know their team ideally so dont have to wait for the deadline to check it works.

In any case, I guarantee you liveFPL has absolutely no access to your transfers even if you're logged in somewhere else. It can only access the available data that anyone can see with your FPL id.

No. They are clinical. So they don't lose loads of BAPS for dispossessions and shots off target.

Avoiding minus baps, that's the name of the game. Finishing big chances, completing passes, not getting dispossessed and not committing fouls. Plus forwards get more baps for goals.

Ings imo. Kane shoots more often off target which is -1 bp (imo, do check and confirm). Auba doesn't shoot a lot either. Spurs also have much more other goal scorers than Kane, so baps are more divided. Ings usually gets 3 baps from his only goal.

If you want to see how naive Arsenal are, that Abraham goal shows it.

Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City would have hacked Abraham down before he even got close to the penalty area. Taken the YC. Arsenal just let him run forward without any pressure.
