    Planning a pure filth backline to roll through to GW30 (Baldock and maybe Lund exit), with the moves to get there starting in GW24/25:

    McCarthy; TAA, Lund, Baldock, Stephens, Newcastle/Cahill (bench)

    Might not need a seventh attacker for a while with that back four, enabling all sorts of nasty funds to manipulate the blanks and doubles

      Love it. Im finding Salah too difficult so going with Hendo, TAA, Robo and Lund. May move Lund to enda or Baldock if I get the chance

        I do like Hendo, but the McCarthy price point for those defensive stats and fixtures is just impossible for my greedy self to ignore

        I expect Mane + TAA + Robbo + Hendo to be the template due to team value constrictions, so I'm "attacking" it with Salah + Mane + TAA + Baldock

          Yh makes sense mate. Baldock is a great pick, wish I'd gone with him sooner. Didn't realise his price had risen so much. I've had he do from the start and he'll probs stay there tbh

        I like their stats too. The fixtures turned me off as there's no right time to buy them until GW31, so that's a likely solution to the SHU fixture turn... If everything hasn't changed by then and we're all buying Mings...

      They signed him about two hours after I bought Sarr

      Just... Not the best news for me. Guess I have to plan exit strategies and hope the new guy is integrated over time (cup games), not just tossed into the league to replace a form winger

      And yeah, that's what someone said here to calm me down. Sarr's form makes him hard to drop until he's injured or there's a congestion

    Had a really bad first half of this season. Thinking of using my WC, but not sure yet. This how I would do it:

    Stek > McCarthy
    Dunk > Stephens

          He’s due to lose his spot soon. I’d get a decent defender in your shoes.

          Williams and Tangana are punts and may not appear much if at all. Stephens could work but Southampton defence isn’t something I’d want to rely on let alone double up on.

    Is Mane essential for the dgw? Currently own Salah and TAA and have an OR of 20k. Manes high EO is scary and a haul from him would make the OR plunge.

      I think so.
      He has been better FPL player for past season and half than salah. I have Mane & No Salah. Pretty relaxed atm.

    Watford could play four games in nine days following the postponement of their FA Cup third-round replay at Tranmere due to heavy rainfall.

    The rescheduled match will now be played next Thursday (23 January), following Saturday's (18 January) game against Tottenham and Tuesday's (21 January) meeting with relegation rivals Aston Villa.

    If they defeat Tranmere, Watford will play either Wolves or Manchester United on Sunday, 26 January.
