Scoutcast crew debate whether to Wildcard after Double Gameweek 24

Fresh from, what was for many, a disastrous outcome of the Triple Captain, the Scoutcast are moving onto the next chip: the second Wildcard.

The Fantasy Premier League community has been debating the best time to press the overhaul button and we’ll bring you our thoughts tonight.

Join Joe, Az and Lee for the latest episode of the Scoutcast at 20:00 GMT on our YouTube channel.

The three pundits will give their views on the Wildcard as well as what to do with the injured Sadio Mané (£12.4m).

The Liverpool man, heavily backed for the Triple Captaincy in Double Gameweek 24, has already been ruled out of the game against West Ham and is a major doubt for Gameweek 25 too.

Is now the time to sell or hold Mané? Joe, Az and Lee will discuss that in some depth.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa and Leicester will be going head-to-head in their EFL Cup semi-final second leg so we will do our best to bring you updates from that game.

    Missed the scoutcast, what was the verdict on using the WC?

    I have Kelly, Rico, Soyuncu, Lundstram, Mane and Maupay.

    It's tempting to WC but I always like to use it around the chips.

              Pretty cheap and can get some attacking returns. But if not convinced you can either go Cantwell (if fit) or Hayden and save some money. I'd just not go Fleck as he will be your bench player and won't play in GW28 when you'll need him.

      Might punt on Burnley defence (Taylor?) ahead of Lascelles to avoid potential double up. Fancy Burnley to finish strongly and they get 31 anyway which might yet be handy

      Sweet team, nice balance. I would prefer Boly (only 4.7) over Doherty. He was back on the bench last game and will play i assume from now on. He's a baps-magnet and with the spare money you can upgrade Mooy. Perez would excite me more than him for example.

      Spurs looking like signing Bergwijn from PSV. He's a winger by trade but don't know whether Spurs think he is a back-up for Kane instead. For now Moura might be safe but spending their second-most transfer-fee for a player doesn't bode well for Moura in the future i think.

      If he's not in your 11 and you have value in him, it may be worth keeping him a few more weeks to see how the situation develops, cause as a starter he still offers great value. I'd be doing that, I've got Henderson, Baldock and lundstrum atm. If he's benched next game I'll ditch him for Stephens.
