Scoutcast returns to discuss Son replacements and budget attackers

The Scoutcast is back for another episode as the Gameweek 27 edges closer.

You can catch us on our YouTube channel from 20:00 GMT to 21:00 GMT.

Joe will be joined by Az and Holly to discuss the key issues of the coming weeks.

We may still be in the never-ending Gameweek 26 but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Son Heung-min (£10.0m) replacements will be our initial focus, in light of his recent long-term injury.

Relegation-threatened players will be up next considering that Jack Grealish (£6.7m) continued to deliver points over the weekend.

With Premier League survival on the line for him and his Aston Villa colleagues, as well as Brighton, Watford, Norwich and Bournemouth, we discuss which players are likely to step-up to the plate.

Manchester City were recently handed a two-year ban from the Champions League which could affect the way Pep Guardiola picks his team both this season and next, while with another view on 2019/20 we also look at potential changes to FPL moving forward.

      It’s alright for some, all my transfers recently have been shocking. This weeks special was Lund dcl to Egan jimi -4! In your case I think the hit may be worth it, but who would you play if you didn’t do one of the transfers?

        That was me at xmas. all trannies went wrong knocked me out to 500k after a great start. Digging it back now.

        Would play DCL and Martial. Prefer the upside to Jimi I think. Worth a gamble at this stage and decent fixtures next 3 or 4 too.

    With Kante possibly sidelined for forseeable future, is Mount an option to consider at 6.1? Chelsea have good fixtures after Tot.

      I know Mount came on for Kante last night, but they play different positions

      Kente being out hinders Chelsea attack because:

      - he's actually good in attack
      - he provides cover for the other players

          Right. More chips would be more reason for the casual player to become dejected, not motivated. Rewards addiction more than skill. The difficult of 0 chips would be difficult enough in my opinion. But I'm happy with a couple of wildcards. Even 3 wildcards. No need for anything else for me. Even captaincy is too much 😆

    Told there's no injury to Sadio Mane. Don't think it's that Jurgen Klopp doesn't trust the player, but rather that he doesn't trust the referee to not be conned into sending him off.
