What impact will Rose’s arrival at Newcastle have on FPL?

The arrival of Danny Rose (£5.3m) at Newcastle United has added a new dimension to the options at St. James’ Park.

The former Spurs left-back joins Steve Bruce’s squad with plenty of Premier League and European experience, which bodes well for the Magpies.

However, it is unclear at this point whether or not Rose will have any impact on the Fantasy Premier League scene.

That’s what we hope to achieve by assessing what he achieved at Spurs in the first half of the campaign and taking an early look at Rose’s initial contributions to Newcastle.

As this article uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those signed up for the 2019/20 season either as a full or half-season package, or monthly members, can access it in full.

          I'm keeping an eye on Auba. Possible dgw in wk29. (West Ham and City both at home) I could also see Pompey upsetting things by knocking Arsenal out of FAC - meening they would be one of few teams playing wk31.

    Why do people expect Aguero to be benched? They haven’t played in ages and shirley Pep will want let players to be match fit for Real Madrid game.

      100% agree.
      People expect rotation just for the sake of rotation, which is stupid when they have not played in 2½ week.

      Also they lost the last two against MUN and tot, and they did not even score a goal. If they don't bash West Ham tonight Pep will not have 11 fully motivated believing players starting against Real next week.

    Guys and girls who are chasing people down, if you have a better team value, do you:

    A) Captain someone you think your rival will captain, I.e go for the shield and hope the rest of your team do the business

    B) Gamble your captaincy on a different player?

        Yeah thought that was the case!

        Really wish the DGWs could be confirmed so could plan for the rest of the season, hard to know whether to sit someone on my bench for GW28 if they have a blank but a DGW not far away or whether to sell as plenty of time to bring players back in!
