      if they do more tests, I think they will find more players are infected even without showing symptoms. Crazy to me that they are still waiting for someone to get infected before cancelling the match.

    So Arsenal’s game likely off with that news. Could also mean West Ham v Wolves seeing as Arsenal faced them last week. A lot of teams with 3 wolves and Auba etc.

          Safety first and postponing or cancelling is the right thing to do at the moment. FPL is just a game so insignificant to what is going on really.

    They should test everyone to make sure they are not infected before playing the game. Or else we get something like few days later someone got tested positive and it's hard to trace back

    Well Arsenal v Brighton is gone.

    Possibly West Ham v wolves due to proximity to Arsenal game last week. Quite likely a few other players have it which then leads to isolation.

    Might get a few games this week. But 100% none next week.

    I just don't understand the reason why so many people on here want the have Premier League matches called?

    Is it?:

    A) They are concerned about the spread of the Coronavirus and believe the government are being reckless.
    B) They have rubbish FPL ranks and what this to be wiped out by the season finishing early
    C) They want Liverpool to be denied the title by the season finishing early?

      There's no point in keep going with Premier League. It will be suspended sooner or later. From the FPL point of view I rather it is suspended now than in the middle of a GW or some matches played and some not. It will be too chaotic. Imho the best solution would be to suspend all football for now, resume in a month or two when the epidemic is halted, finish the season in June or July, move Euros to next year

      A, but reckless simply does not cover it.

      Most are trying to prevent a situation like Italy, where the healthcare-system is completely and utterly overloaded which results in so many deaths (beforehand sick patients who can't get whatever treatment they need due to overload, and 'elderly' + already sick people catching coronavirus, and being to 'weak' to fight it off).

      Letting fans to stadiums and so on are just plain stupid, and will result in a grim situation in a few weeks.

    I can see the whole league being postponed. No way will they risk carrying it on. Imagine if a player died (obviously a very worse case scenario).
    The prem are in a position to prevent illness and death. No way are they going to gamble on that
