Win a year’s membership by joining our FPL mini-league and raise money for the NHS

We have launched a new Fantasy Premier League classic mini-league to mark the resumption of the 2019/20 season, with scoring starting from Gameweek 30+.

Whether you’re currently ranked first in the world or closer to the seven-million mark, everyone is in with a chance of winning as all entrants start from zero.

Head to the FPL site via this link and use the code ‘i3lxye’ to sign up (full details are towards the bottom of this piece).

There’s not only pride at stake in this mini-league but the carrot of free annual memberships to the managers who finish in the top five places.

Don’t worry if you’re already subscribed for 2020/21 – we’ll refund your payment if your finish qualifies you for this prize.

Our new end-of-season mini-league is called the ‘The FFScout Charity Shield‘ and we’re also using this opportunity to try and raise money for the NHS.

We usually offer Amazon vouchers to those finishing in the podium places of our Fantasy Football Scout and Fantasy Football Scout Members leagues, and that remains the case in this stop-start season.

For ‘The FFScout Charity Shield’, we at Fantasy Football Scout are pledging the cash equivalent – £300 – to NHS Charities Together.

The selfless work that our National Health Service key workers carry out on a daily basis has been brought into sharp focus over the last three months.

We’re honoured to be donating money to such a worthwhile cause and we’re inviting you to do the same via our JustGiving page.

We should stress that a donation is not mandatory and anyone can enter ‘The FFScout Charity Shield’ whether they are able to make a financial contribution or not; we fully appreciate that these are tough, unprecedented times and some of you will perhaps not be in a position to do so.

If you are able to spare a bob or two, however, then you can do so by clicking on the below link.

Many thanks to anyone who donates to the fund and good luck for the rest of the season.

    Which combo?

    A) Sterling + Abraham
    B) Mahrez + Jimenez

    Thanks in advance

I’d go for A. Very tough to decide between Abraham and Jimenez, but Sterling surely more safe than Mahrez.

That’s tough but then again they are over £2m different in price as combos so it’s apples vs oranges isn’t it?

Fleck for me because I can bench him most weeks as a 5th mid.

I've got no wildcard to fall back on to alter my defence in the coming weeks and Utd's fixtures aren't the best.

Hows it looking for a bb?
    Hendo - ederson
Doherty - Alonso - Oconnell - Egan- Taggart
    Kdb - Pepe - Grealish - Saka - cantwell
    Auba - Kun - Jimi

0.4 in bank, could do oconnell to baldock

Bottomed. The below is my BB30+ team, but trying to look forward with it due to poor TV.

Feel I could potentially use 2 transfers in GW31+ (-4) and get a good side out and have another week of info before WC-ing?

    Leno | McCarthy
    TAA | Lundstram | Egan | O'Connell | Lascelles
    KDB | Mahrez | Grealish | Cantwell | Fernandes
    Aubameyang | Aguero | Nketiah

What's the general consensus please, regarding people who have all their chips (apart from Triple Captain).

Is it use the Unlimited Transfers and Bench Boost , then Free Hit or Wild Card after that.

Or just use unlimited transfers to week changes to teams and FREE Hit for this first DGW?

Been so busy with work, keep missing the flavour of opinions.

    Cheers

Hey mate, okay cool thank you. The only part I did pick up was that, some people tactically not sure about the GW31 WC, because they want to wait a week after (i think) to see how cup matches are and a better handle on team selection.

    Leno Henderson
    TAA Egan Targett Boly Saiss
    KDB Sterling Fleck Grealish McGinn
    Aguero Auba Nketiah

Please advise... all comments gratefully received

TAA costly for 1 week. Will Nketiah start? Fleck and McGinn is a punty combination. Wolves don’t feel nailed for clean sheet away to West Ham.

Thank you - TAA in to keep the value, got a feeling Nketiah will start vs. Brighton. Happy with Fleck but agree McGinn is a punt due to fitness. Got small value held in Boly & don’t know a better option than Saiss for £4.6m - open to offers though

Take an extra sheff u in defence. If needs be go cantwell in midfield but I’d rather ditch TAA to Doherty or Alonso and then go mount / traore in midfield

Very, very good. Wish I had a TV greater than 102m!

Could you almost just make 2 FT's for a -4 in GW31+ like Mane and Jimenez in and save the WC if necessary? You woukld be missing out on Leicester, Man Utd fixture though.

I think Mount and Fernandes are better picks in both cases.

Fernandes over Martial is closer than Mount over Pedro imo. More competition with Pulisic and CHO in there as well whereas Martial and Bruno are both 'first choice' players.

    Hendo

Bench is pure fodder, its a free hit team. Button, Guendozi, 3.9 def and the 4.2m Brighton striker!

Yehh as a FH team its great. I've decided to hold my FH and use my BB instead. If using FH Id prob chance Aguero again, but I dont want to come out the other side stuck on Abu, Aguero and Sterling and no Salah or Mane.

Actually, I can get to that team as well, and the bench is not as bad as I thought - but I'm avoiding Aguero, he stung me so much all season.

    Reina / Mcarthy
    Mendy - TAA - Lundy - O'Connell - Lascelles
    KDB - Ster - Bruno - Grealish - Cantwell
    Auba - Rash - CalvertL

BB being played. Have 1Mil left in bank to go from Ster back to Salah for GW31 - LIV have a merseyside derby which will be intense and I think Ster over 2 Games is worth more than Sal for this GW. Also worry a little about injuries in the Derby especially as they return to fitness.
Is Lloris def back? Or might Gazza get a start.

    Permanently

    A) Son, Pukki, Cresswell (+4)
    B) Aubameyang, Cantwell, Diop/Aarons

    For B, 1) Diop 2) Aarons

For the fixture turn in 33-34 I'll be needing my WC. All chips intact.

    1.0 | Leno
    Boly - Saiss - Egan
    Sterling - KdB - Bruno - Grealish
    Aubameyang - Vardy - Jimenez
    Lascelles - Taylor - Fodder

    What would you change?

Liverpool, City & Chelsea's fixtures are really easy after that.
Wolves, Arsenal, Leicester, Everton & Sheffield have tough fixtures after 33, so...

Hi evening crowd, couple community articles that have gone up over the last few days in case you fancy having a quick read of some great alternative views

Pep Pig took a look at who he thinks we should be considering from City for 30+
    https://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2020/06/14/approaching-man-city-for-the-double/

Meanwhile Virg took a broader view over all the double gameweek teams, plus a good smattering of stats for those that enjoy them
    https://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2020/06/12/who-are-the-best-players-for-double-gameweek-30/

If you're in the Pundit Playoff tournament, Boris announced it was returning along with FPL
    https://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2020/06/13/community-tournament-the-pundits-playoff-comes-to-life-once-more/

For those of you playing Eliteserien Fantasy, TallestJohn gave us a fresh article full of his tips on the teams at the top of the table
    https://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2020/06/14/eliteserien-fantasy-season-preview-part-1/

Whilst across the border the Allsvenskan league started up today, with Meltens and Hansel having finished their roundup of Fantasy targets not too long ago
    https://www.fantasyfootballscout.co.uk/2020/06/10/fantasy-allsvenskan-forwards/

If you can show some love to any of the above it would be greatly appreciated!

For those chasing modest leads in ML's are you also thinking of using FH at some point to almost gather 7-8 differentials on a given GW compared to your leader if you sense they're a bit weak for a given GW?

Easy alternative if just wait until FH38+

Interested to see what midfield Lampard plays against Villa. Has to fit Kante, Kovacic, Gilmour, Barkley, Mount and Loftus-Cheek into 3 spots.

Probably will be Kova-Gilmour-Mount but with the way RLC seems to be banging them in (3 in 3), I wouldn't be surprised if Lampard throws him straight into the mix

He's got 5 subs, so 3 midsin the first half, a different 3 in the second an option. One point for all ! It probably won't be that bad, but rotation is definitely going an issue that needs to be taken into account.
