€320,000 in prize pools as FanTeam celebrates Premier League return

As the saying goes, all good things come to those who wait.

Well the long wait for the return of Premier League football is almost over, and FanTeam are going big on marking this joyous occasion.

Europe’s largest daily Fantasy Football provider is guaranteeing a whopping €320,000 in prize pools for the first Gameweek of top-flight English football’s return, with a host of different games to cover the matches running from Wednesday 17th to Monday 22nd June.

The main event will be the €100,000 GPP contest involving the four Premier League games being played on Saturday.

FanTeam are offering a huge €20,000 prize for the winner of the seven-a-side contest. The action will kick off with the Watford vs. Leicester City fixture at 13:30 CET.

For those FPL purists who like to test their skills across a full slate of fixtures, FanTeam have created a €25,000 GPP Premier League Full Round contest.

The event will cover all of Gameweek 30’s matches, with a cool €5K first place prize up for grabs.

The usual single-match games, involving various modes, will be available as well, and FanTeam have also unveiled some great offers to tempt players back into the Premier League action.

There’s a New User Deposit Bonus – deposit €20 and receive a free €20 Ticket to FanTeam‘s 100K Event mentioned above.

And two other offers involve rewards that can be used in FanTeam‘s sportsbook which details all major leagues and has unique features such as the player matchup, where you can select which player will score the most fantasy points.

FanTeam are running both a new user 100% bonus of up to €500 and a Welcome Back Bonus involving a 100% Bonus of up to €200.

    Hello guys. How is this for a somewhat balanced BB+31WC team?

    As days go by, i'm less and less keen on other Villa attacking asset besides Grealish, and I cant stretch it to Ozil or Pepe, so will probably go with "only" 10 DGW-ers.

        I'm not confident about the Everton game. Ancelotti nullifies Klopp well with his 442 - I think we have to start Keita, and maybe go 442.

            Keita has played quite well whenever fully fit to be honest. Just has niggles here and there and ends up missing a lot of action, and then doesn't get back into the side because Hendo-Fab-Gini further solidify their places in the team.

            I hope and I think Klopp will use the rest of the season to give Keita far more gametime - he's our best CM technically imo.

      I have the same chips available and I’m doing the same strategy as yourself.

      Prefer Reina over McCarthy for the double.

      Need to upgrade one of Saka/Luiz imo.

      Ings is an interesting pick for this week but I got rid as he’ll be benched every other game I imagine so it’s worth it long term.

        I was thinking of Ings & Saiss -> Abraham & Ward - what do you think?

        I could upgrade one of Luiz/Saka to Fleck and lose Egan/Henderson? Otherwise think I'll struggle to get funds for a better midfielder whilst keeping Aguero, Auba and KDB.

          Abraham is a good shout. But I think you need funds. Deeney looks great as does DCL (bad Liverpool fixture)

          You can then upgrade your mid and Ward. Ward isn’t bad but definitely not nailed. Palace have nothing to play for as well.

        Doherty abraham and TAA all have good sgw fixtures and are 'good picks' rather than going for dgw players I may otherwise not have considered....

    Absolutely devastating (but of course unsurprising) that Boris Johnson has rejected Marcus Rashford's public plea to extend free school meals to vulnerable children throughout the summer holidays.

    Marcus Rashford himself has raised £20 million for charity and distributes 3 million meals a week to vulnerable children.

    Shameful from the government.

    I was one of the players who made small transfers over the previous 8 or so game weeks to try and improve my team on the hopes for a resumption of the FPL, but was happy to receive the unlimited transfers because my league rival had also been active over this period. My squad value is better than his by circa 3m so gives me a chance to get more premium options in my squad. I plan to BB with the following squad:

    Henderson / Leno
    Egan / Basham / Laporte / TAA / Saiss
    KDB / Sterling/ Fernandes / Grealish / Saka
    Rashford / Jiminez / Jota

    I have one eye on future squad balance and have left 1.2 in the bank for future moves (with a view to get Mane/Salah back in at the expense of Sterling and downgrading Laporte to Maguire in a couple of weeks’ time). No other chips left.

    Any thoughts how I could improve the squad?
