Another start for Greenwood as unchanged United take on Villa in Gameweek 34+ finale

The final fixture of Gameweek 34+ sees Aston Villa take on Manchester United.

Kick-off at Villa Park is at 20:15 BST.

There is little in the way of seismic team news, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named an unchanged starting XI for the fourth league game in a row.

Mason Greenwood (£4.7m) gets another start down the right flank, then, with Bruno Fernandes (£8.9m), Paul Pogba (£8.3m), Marcus Rashford (£9.1m) and Anthony Martial (£8.3m) supporting the budget FPL forward in attack.

There is only one change for Aston Villa, meanwhile, as Mbwana Samatta (£5.3m) comes into Dean Smith’s line-up to replace Keinan Davis (£4.3m).

Rashford, Martial and Greenwood are all owned between 46% and 51% of the top 10k, with Fernandes sitting in more than nine in ten Fantasy squads among this elite bunch.

Just under 20% of the top 10,000 FPL managers have captained the Portuguese midfielder.

Fernandes has averaged 8.9 points per match since he joined the Red Devils in January.

Aston Villa XI: Reina, Konsa, Hause, Mings, Taylor, Grealish, Luiz, McGinn, El Ghazi, Trezeguet, Samatta.

Manchester United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Matic, Pogba, Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford, Martial.

Vardy easily. 2 maybe 3 great fixtures (Tottenham away is easy now, yeah?) and his underlying stats have picked up again in the last two weeks.

Mmm true. Can still ditch Vardy for the last two depending on form/other emerging options.

They could challenge with some more signings but think they’d struggle overall especially if they make champs league

Depends on whether we improve squad depth. Sancho, Grealish and another CB would be huge.

I would be more than happy with a world class centre back and Sancho

        This.

Lack of depth was painfully obvious against Norwich in the cup.

Lingard and Andreas cannot be 2nd choice.

Too much of a gap to bridge.

A comfortable to four finish, a narrowing of that gap and building a platform to challenge the year after a much more likely vision of a positive season.

De Gea and Maguire are big liabilities, but then so is Mendy. I’d still rather have City’s options though.

Maguire is still a decent centre back alongside someone fast. Yes he has made a few mistakes but still played well. Henderson can replace DDG

We're in a society that defines people by their worst edges.

Maguire has been fantastic in 900 of his contributions, but it's the couple of errors that stand out.

Such violence & power distilled in a split second - absolute traction engine of a (weaker!) right foot

The technique was unreal, as well as the very instinctive touches to set it up

Martial’s work to win the ball back from Mings in the run up was lovely too, great to see

But Greenwood looks like they’ve found a future 100m talent

    Wan bissaka Aurier Holgate
    Kdb Sterling Foden Martial
    Jimi Auba Rashford

Conceded 2 to Bournemouth last time round. MU's strength with their home form is in attack. And Southampton have a great away record. I know you don't control the bookies odds btw, just saying they've probably got this one a bit wrong

City and united are scoring a lot more than Wolves. Rashford and Mahrez can still do well.

So A is less likely to backfire.

Is keeping AWB and Rashford ahead of chasing Greenwood wise or just stubborn?

Spurs couldn’t breakdown Bournemouth, do we expect Leicester to be able to?

Rashford looks like he has a haul incoming, close offside last game, pogba getting in way tonight.

Saying that, I have Rashford and Greenwood!

Which city asset would you rather have for the run-in if chasing.

    A)Kdb
    B)Sterling

Sterling will play every game with Aguero out, I suspect.
      KdB on pens.

      Tricky.

Im going to check Brighton match, and decide what to go with for 36 onwards, Son has to leave my team. Was a punt dropping kdb on wc in 31, and it didnt really work!

We just have to accept Pep will rotate. There's such a high ceiling if either do play.

I’m going for both. Think the fixtures warrant both.

What are the chances that KDB starts this GW? Im leading my league by only 10 pts and my rival has him. I have Mahrez as City cover and was looking to replace him with KDB in GW 36. Should l wait as planned or switch them out this weekend? Can't switch any other mid. I have enough ITB to do this. Any help appreciated

93 points another big jump in rank. Need some help.

    Pope
    Alexander-Arnold, Boly, Wan-Bissaka
De Bruyne, Fernandes, Salah, Pulisic, Foden
    Greenwood, Jiménez

    Button

    Calvert-Lewin, lascelles, Egan

    1.2 in the bank.

Would like Antonio, unsure how I'd shoehorn him in.

So I guess Jimi and Calvert lewin out?

    Apologies, bottomed:

    Thoughts on these moves?

    Kane to Vardy
    Son to Mane
    TAA to VVD
    for -8

Alternatively could just do Kane to Ings and keep TAA for -4

    Former would leave me with:

    McCarthy
    VVD | Saiss | Kiko
    Salah | Mane | KdB | Bruno | Martial
    Vardy | Greenwood

Button | Connolly | Lascelles | El Mohamady

    Thanks

I'd ignore Mane if I were you.

      Kane > Vardy

And then next week go Son > Mahrez.

Thanks for your thoughts, what if I told you my plans would be to captain Mane?

I do like Mahrez, I just can’t be arsed with the Pep roulette, I’d rather just take comfort in knowing my players will likely start. Hence why I only have KdB

    A) Nketiah, Mane -> Vardy(c), Willian/Antonio
    B) Jimenez, DCL, Maguire -> Vardy(c), Greenwood, Aurier (-4)

    If A....
    1) Willian
    2) Antonio

    Martinez
    Doherty TAA Maguire
    Mane KDB Mahrez Fernandes(c) Martial
    Jimenez DCL

    Martin Saiss Nketiah Robinson
