Moved into the top 2k. Heavy heights for me. Kane punt failed though.

Should I move him to Vardy now or save?
    Captain Salah or risky?

Yeh that's my concern. Shame but hes turned into a differential as it is. Think I would cap Bruno over Vardy maybe. Thanks

Did last night. Also shifted DCL for INGS. Yep a week early perhaps but Ings seems to enjoy the away games even more than at home, so took the punt and saved the cash. Yep a points hit but hey ho.

Nah, it's actually the opposite of risky imho.

Risky is owning 3 city mids as I do (KDB, Mahrez, Foden).

All rotation risks in the next couple of weeks.

Meanwhile Pulisic is on fire, consistently playing 90 mins. Chelsea in form with good fixtures.

Foden is supposed be your 8th attacker and you are supposed to start him occasionally when he has rested the previous match. If you have someone else that's very cheap then it's not risky to go for Pulisic

So the News is saying three penalty mistakes last night, Premier Football another shambles!!

        Spurs should of had penalty

Klopp explained: “With all the rest, we saw last week [against Aston Villa] that when you can make really good changes, it helps. In the last game, Bobby didn’t start, now Sadio doesn’t start and we will see what we do for the next game.

“It is always about how the boys feel and we need to be really flexible. The boys look fit, they looked fit in the Aston Villa game as well, but these little moments when you do the runs without getting the ball, that’s what you don’t do when you are not 100 per cent fresh. It’s not that you don’t want to, it’s just your body doesn’t deliver that.

“So, fresh legs and rhythm now – Ox started the last game and now he is a bit further up on the pitch. We have good opportunities on the bench and that’s all good.

“Fabinho, it was clear he needs a little rest, so that’s the line-up. All good!”

        Mane for captain GW 35.

Not sure but the hint that he might rest some other too maybe salah come from bench and play 30 to 40 minutes.

In the last game, Bobby didn’t start, now Sadio doesn’t start and we will see what we do for the next game.

Remember when kane was valued at 150 odd million.
Do you think the injuries have took their toll and he is finished as an elite level striker, or are we just seeing the mourinho effect, and he'll make a come back to his old goal scoring form?

He was the same under Pochettino for the last 1.5 years or so. He has never been a player who creates his own chances though so I think it has more to do with Spurs' decline than his form.

Quick drought. Cannot deny his ability!
City should drop that 150m on Spurs imo.

That was not real value. It's the press and publicity. Just on paper. He was never elite enough for a top 2 team in any of the top 5 European leagues. His lack of pace, dribbling, power and stamina stopped him being elite. The world cup golden boot was a freak event.

nah, he was an elite striker when he came onto the scene for the first couple of seasons, as an out and out striker he was unreal, scored from anywhere, inside, outside, head, left right. He was clinical.
Just watching him last night, I know the whole spurs setup and team is crap, but he offered up nothing.
Suppose without the right setup and supply he is useless.

Please give me a link where I can see 10 strikes outside the box and where he takes on defenders or powers through. I might change my mind. Just 10. The team was set up to provide chances for him.

                    he was unplayable 2015,2016,17,18.
Go back and watch highlight reels. He was a pure out and out goal scorer.
Obviously he had a better team/setup around him then, but I feel like the injuries have hindered him, and its not just that spurs are generally crap these days.

I was fast forwarding to the goals. We agree to differ on his past of ''amazing strikes''. At least we agree on the present. He isn't that good and will not play at any of the top 2 clubs in the top 5 European leagues. Thanks for the insightful discussion.

Fair enough, yeah he is rubbish at the moment, and no top tier club would be lining up to sign him.
But we agree to disagree on the past, I thought he was class back in the day as an out and out scorer, I may be wrong!

And I'm also not sure you've ever actually watched him. He's scored his share of screamers, though I'm not sure why scoring outside of the box is the ultimate measure of an elite striker. And even if it is, he's done that lol. Bizarre

Bit of both. Suffers with 0 creativity in that Spurs side though. Eriksen and Dembele were important for him. Neither have been replaced.

Is he in England's best XI? I know he's the captain, but Jordan should have got it really.

England could play Rash, Sterling, Sancho, Greenwood as a front 3/4 and play fast tempo. Kane DM.

They would be so much better without him. Sometimes you can't see the hindrance until it is moved. Looked at the top strikers everywhere, so many attributes you need. He only has finishing ability, more needed.

Shearer had a similar spell at Newcastle until Bobby Robson became manager and told him where he expected him to be on the pitch, to receive the ball on the half turn and concentrate on scoring goals. Shearer had seen chances dry up as the team wasn't so good and he spent most of his time battling with his back to goal or making runs down the wing. He was putting a shift in each match but it wasn't making the most of his goal scoring talent. Robson then went on to build a pacy team around him.

Shearer had a bit about him. Power, more pace than Kane, headers, chasing everything. Footy has changed now though, Kane is asked to put a shift in and he can't get up there. Todays top forwards aren't waiting for the ball all the time. He can work on his athleticism. A bit too late to work on dribbling perhaps.

Why is everyone so sure Foden won't start even though he was subbed on 60mins in the last game?

          My current team:

          Patricio
          Doherty TAA Maguire
          Bruno Salah KDB Foden Pulisic
          Vardy Greenwood

          Martin Jiminez Kiko Robinson

Going to be a late decision on captaincy between Vardy and Bruno!

Heat Maps for Man Utd are available below:

          https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1376161/Live/England-Premier-League-2019-2020-Aston-Villa-Manchester-United
          https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1376259/Live/England-Premier-League-2019-2020-Manchester-United-Bournemouth
          https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1376240/Live/England-Premier-League-2019-2020-Brighton-Manchester-United
          https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1376236/Live/England-Premier-League-2019-2020-Manchester-United-Sheffield-United

Key difference between Rashford and Greenwood is that Rashford plays wide (up against the full back) whereas Greenwood plays in the inside channel (in between centre back and full back).

Rashford gets more touches, but his touches are more likely to be passes inside as he starts from wide whereas Greenwood's are more likely to be shots as he starts between near post and edge of penalty area.

A player who is similar to Rashford is Son (Spurs maps linked below):

          https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1376164/Live/England-Premier-League-2019-2020-Bournemouth-Tottenham
          https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1376263/Live/England-Premier-League-2019-2020-Tottenham-Everton
          https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1376250/Live/England-Premier-League-2019-2020-Sheffield-United-Tottenham
          https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1376225/Live/England-Premier-League-2019-2020-Tottenham-West-Ham

But the surprising thing with Son is how many touches deep in central areas he has. He isn't bursting to get into the box. He is primarily playing wide left or dropping deeper to facilitate play from outside the penalty area.
