If you think the best team in England won´t keep cs vs Chelsea and Arsenal then it could be a sell. Both Arsenal and Chelsea are poor at the left back and very hit and miss in attack too, as we saw with Chelsea last night. Arsenal have upped their play but stil not scoring much apart from Norwich game (which tells you little else than Norwich being garbage).

Liverpool are hard to call these days, and so are Chelsea. Imagine TAA vs Chelsea if they are as bad as they were yesterday?

    1FT, 3.2 itb

    1. Connolly >> Ings (bench one of Mahrez or Foden?)

Unclear what to do with my team after an awful GW. Loads I’d prefer to change but I was planning on playing FH in GW38....

Foden/ Jesus in for Mahrez/ Vardy? Digne in? Dilva in?

    1FT 0.1itb
    Pope
    TAA*, Doherty, Kiko*
    Salah, KDB*, Mahrez*, Bruno, Pulisic
    Vardy*, Ings
    (Martin) (Greenwood, Lascelles*, Simpson)

*s are players I would happily dump....

    Any ideas appreciated!

Only 5pts behind my ML leader, could do with some advice!

Do you think I should FH the below team for GW36+ or wait for GW38+ and do one of the below transfers instead?

    Martinez - Button
    TAA - Doherty - Saiss - Lascelles - Simpson
    Salah - KDB - Mahrez - Fernandes - Pulisic
    Ings - Greenwood - Vardy

    A) Vardy > Jesus
    B) Vardy > Giroud/Abraham
    C) Mahrez > Silva
    D) Mahrez > Willian
    E) Combo of A/B & C/D (-4)
    F) Use FH

So, with KDB and Sterling playing yesterday and the FA Cup semi-final this weekend, they are likely to be rested against Bournemouth, right? That being said, I think it is worth free hitting to get better City cover (Foden, David Silva, maybe Jesus) and triple up Chelsea.

    Agreed?

I don't know is it worth risking and putting Sterling in my FH team. However, if he starts, a haul is incoming...

Bought him for Mane before the previous GW. Gave me 31 points, while Mane got just 2 points in the same period.

      Yes, highly likely.

Do you think Jesus starts away at Arsenal?

If so he could be benched too. David Silva, B Silva and Foden may be the way to go.

I wonder how for how long teams will concede in the same manner vs City. Man city scored like 30% of their goals by simply passing to right winger who cuts inside and crosses with his left foot (or De Bryune coming from deep and crossing with his right) on the far post where they overload 2 defenders by having 3 players: striker, left forward and central midfielder (the one who plays alongside KDB). Then they score with simple header from the goal area. Just watch Sterling's 2nd goal, classic example. They are attempting this in every single game I watch.

Yeah this unfortunately. Like saying ‘why doesn’t anyone stop Mane from bombing it down the wing, cutting inside and shooting from the edge of the area into the far top corner?’

It’s one thing to identify something and another thing to be able to nullify it.

It means that in press releases (you must know what they are?) the club always says it is mutual consent, or that they have released the manager from the contract or whatever. They never say 'We've sacked him'.

If you truly believe Spurs got rid of Pochettino rather than vice versa, fine.

You can see who the Spurs fans are with these comments and who support ‘mega clubs’ with unlimited cash.

Vast majority recognise what Levy and Poch have done is nothing short of miraculous. They’ll remember Ruel Fox and Taricco and be looking at what happened to Arsenal after Dein left to see what awaits them.

The fact Spurs are considered to be challenging or in the champions league on a regular basis is a very recent phenomenon. His careful negotiating over contracts and wages has kept them cash flow positive and enabled them to reach the next level of self generated income.

Not long ago people would have said West Ham, Aston Villa, Everton and Newcastle were equivalent clubs to Spurs. Not anymore, now that sounds like a joke and Levy’s careful hand has played a big part in that.

You can't pick and choose what is relevant and contextual, and what isn't. It's clear you personally massively back the the Spurs hierarchy, ok. I disagree, as so many, ok.

What's your view on Levy immediately looking to furlough staff, then backtracking? Were you happy for him to teach for public funds in time of public crisis, when in fact how business did not need to? (Seeing as you want to talk about Levy)

I've already said he has his faults if you read me comments I agree that he does things wrong in the transfer windows and furloughing the staff was rubbish too. But to say hes held Spurs back is totally false.

Of all the players with greater than 20% EO in the Top 10k, only one (Mahrez) has not blanked (KDB, TAA, Pope, Salah, Pulisic, Mane) and even he only managed an assist.

Wolves and Man Utd to continue the trend? 8 players from those two teams with over 20% EO and Vardy and Ings make up the rest.

I used free hit because I was fed up of scoring well but having the same players. I had no bench and Salah, taa, foden, kdb. Risk of rotation made me go for it as I knew sterling would start. But the Antonio 4 goals was a freak result.

Pick a week where you think some of the big hitters high ownership players may get rotated. I will concede I got lucky but it was sound logic. That said logic doesn't always equal success.

Any thoughts here? Still got FH available. Looks like it could be a good week to do it. Also have 2FT and 0.5 ITB

    Ederson(Martinez)
    TAA Boly Egan (Kiko Taylor)
    Salah KDB Pulisic Bruno Foden
    Rash Greenwood (Jimi)

    No FH and go with
    A) Jimi to Ings, Kiko/Taylor to Chelsea def?
    B) Rashford to Jesus, Ederson to Kepa
    C) KDB to Sterling, Rash to Ings
    D) Something else
    E) FH

Any thoughts on best strategy? Neck & neck in cash ML. Teams are fairly similar. He has FH & WC and assuming he knows he will likely play in GW36 & GW38. I have FH.
When should I play FH? Team is fairly decent this week albeit need some Chelsea. Have 1FT & 1.5 in bank.

Need to close ML gap. (Already did TAA & Nketiah to VVD & Jesus for -4 hit)

    DDG (Martin)
    VVD, Saiss, Holgate (Kiko, Lascelles)
    Kdb, Willian, MANE, Bruno (Saka)
    Kane, Greenwood, Jesus (c)

Need to go full risk: for - 8 hit, Mane to:

    A) Sterling (and maybe TC him)
    B) Pulisic
    C) Dilva
    D) Foden

I've activated mine for GW38. Hopeful on some early Chelsea news so may target up to 3 of them - maybe even an Alonso punt! Few others I'll take a chance on. The likes of Pope, Digne, Antonio, Ings. I don't own any.

I reckon 38 as you can target the golden boot chasers, whoever is chasing 4th/5th and even possibly someone from the bottom teams fighting relegation (if it isn’t already set in stone by then). As a Cherries supporter, I am hoping that it is all on the last game as to whether we stay up or not, Everton will be on the beach, and Callum Wilson will be shooting for his life!

I wonder how many people who did badly last week did well this week and vice versa

I captained Sterling so have undone the 50,000 places I dropped last week by not having Salah / captaining fernandes

A friend in my paid league captained Sterling and also had Antonio so has improved his pretty awful season by jumping from 400k to 200k

Both of us got absolutely mauled last week as we had none of the big scorers.

The key to maintaining the improvements will be for fernandes to blank, otherwise the ranks will tumble again
